Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Yes, premium costs have already been announced to go up to around 90 bucks IIRC.

And hopefully Gaijin keeps their promises to keep RP reductions going for next ranks, especially since things are likely to change.

Rank IX will give them so much money if they increased the RP grind to 500K.

Oh premiums will absolutely go that high (but I don’t give a dang about that because they won’t get a cent from me).
But every time they added a rank they lowered the cost of ranks below, and they recently announced economy changes. So I don’t see why that wouldn’t happen again

@Smin1080p_WT Smin before things get out of hand please confirm that the top rewards won’t pass 420K please

Since this guy been spouting out numbers from first 430K to 450K and now 500K in no more than 5 mins

Same reason to why we didn’t see any “top rank” premiums first, then it went to “no max br” premiums, etc…

But like, some vehicles are being moved up to Rank IX as well, making place for more rank VIII vehicles with an average grind of around 350-400K RP, and with all the slightly different C&P import/export vehicles they can add there, they will fill Rank VIII up to the brim.
So imagine the amount of time required to grind 5 Rank VIII vehicles to grind to Rank IX.

Increasing the grind to 500K RP will make Gaijin so much money, especially with the F22 and F35 coming there likely. Since then more people will buy premiums for rank VIII and IX.
It would be foolish by gaijin if they didn’t increase the grind.

It’s insane that Gaijin want people to charge that much for the premium packs when you look at DCS modules. For me WT premiums are £65 but the most expensive DCS packs are £60. Granted DCS is a full on sim but if they can charge just £60 for their full fidelity modules then why are WT premium packs more expensive for less? The closest modules DCS has to WT quality are their Flaming Cliffs packs which cost just £10.99.

Of course they’ll do that, I’m not questioning it. I’m just saying they’ll reduce the grind cost of lower ranks at the same time. Giving players the illusion of an easier grind can be better than just stacking rp like hell

i think Rank VIII will average around 350-400K and Rank IX around 420-480/500K. Or at least 400-450K.

The answer is super simple. There’s always some pigeons out there ready to put whatever price is needed for something that looks cool. There just happens to be a crap load of pigeons

BTW, Microsoft stock plummets with 400B today.

I’ll be honest I’ve spent my fair share of money on this game because for the most part I genuinely enjoy it and if something comes as a premium and it is actually really cool I’ll buy it and if it’s super cool I’ll buy it outside of the sales but when DCS can charge just £10.99 for one of their Flaming Cliffs packs which are of similar quality to the pack premiums it’s just maddening.

It was still under construction in 1940. So not exactly.

Had it been finished, it clearly would have been in the 40s.

Aren’t you Dutch? Why you use Keith Starmer Currency?

I still buy with GJN, the number on the screen just doesn’t encourage me for TRY.

Huh no I’m welsh. How’d you come to that conclusion?

If that thing really cannot get CMs, I guess we will never see the vehicle.

F-8P with second gen airframe and two Magic 2s is still not around, and that is more balanceable at around 11.0
