Since T-72B3 is going down to 11.3, I think that upcoming event T-72 far more interesting than it was;
As Russia will now have a very solid 11.3 lineup with those.
T-72B3, T-72B3 “Arena”, T-90A, BMPT, and TOR-M1!
I think China 11.0 will still be better in terms of MBTs, as the 11.0 ZTZ-99-II/III are gold, but BMPT is just too nice to ignore.
Now I wish there was a T-80 variant that could fit in there someday!
Not really, using the US as an example there’s:
- Line 1 - F-16C/D PoBIT → F-35A
- Line 2 - F-15C GE → (potentially) F-15C 2040C → F-22a
- Line 3 - F/A-18E/F → F/A-18E/F Block III → F-35C
- Line 4 - AV-8B+ Late → EA-18G → F-35B
- Line 5 - F-15EX
There are also stuff like the F/A-18XT, F-15E1, F-16C Have Glass V kit, and potentially some prototypes like the YF-23 or maybe even the A-12 if Gaijin are feeling bold enough but those would probably end up as premiums/event/squadron vehicles.
The same goes for other nations though there’s enough space for the remaining 4th gen / 4.5/4+ and 5th gens without needing rank 10.

True! I may just keep using Tunguska instead indeed. I haven’t even unlocked the upgrade mod yet, which I trust will make it even better.
BMP-2M and/or T-80B can stay around too.
It may end up surpassing China 11.0 after all…
The reason why I love those lineups it’s because they feel practically like Top Tier BUT without quite being Top Tier.
Way less C*S powercreep, and also generally feels a bit less “competitive” too. Sometimes I feel like there’s a very strong sense of competitiveness in Top Tier, and I’m a rather casual person, so I am developing a taste for the “not quite Top Tier” BRs hahah. Specially Russia and China, since are some that sacrifice some things in exchange for really neat armor.

They don’t, even less so, as Germany has its own 2A6M (so if Germany needed a 2A6M in some way they can have it under the German flag), as the only difference between the 2A6M and 2A6M CAN is the MGs used. Plus, at the end of the day, the 2A6M is just a heavier 2A6.
Also these, plus these which can easily also apply to the other MBTs for Canada & Australia
I can also see them added tho MBTs as the gap most wanted to be filled (a 12.X) MBT alternative to the Challengers, which can’t be filled by India.

Unless it changed, I recall the Forums had a mechanic that blocked users from participating if they hadn’t played “(X) amount of battles in the last (Y) days”.
However, I would like to stay in touch with you guys, even at least here from the hospital! And it appears I’m going to need to stay for a while :’)
So I was wondering if there was a way to bypass/override that mechanic from triggering and isolating me from you? ^^

From what I know it’s still a thing
It is hoped that China’s heavy tank WZ111 will soon appear in the game in the form of gift packs/gold coins. Because it is only 60% complete, it is not suitable to appear on the technology tree. If it appears in the form of activities, there are no other heavy tanks in China. Then many players will never get the same type of tank again. So hopefully it will be able to appear in the game like the American T58/Soviet IS-6, so everyone has a chance to get it.
for everyone but USSR, USA, and China, not really for 4+
they could absolutely fit the rest of 4+ and then some gen 5. but who knows, maybe they will go for rank X
would rather have the EX in line 2 after the GE, since it seems like its more used as an air superiority fighter with an F-15E late (AESA equipped, more advanced AAM etc) go in line 5 after the current F-15E as a more advanced rank 9 strike fighter
True but the EX is a development of the E so should go in line 5 after it. They could still add a late F-15E with AESA and advanced missiles as a bridge between the current E and EX.
They could even add F-15E1 there which could also get AESA if it can be proved that before being selected as the SE tech demonstrator that it was included in the AESA upgrades.

When will these BR changes go live? Like is it tomorrow or how long will it take. Do i have time to get the gripen e before it’s paywalled behind a new rank

I’ve got no hope left for that
We have other incomplete vehicles in game placed in the techtrees, like the Yak-141 that was never armed. Especially the Chinese tree can benefit a lot from more domestic vehicles at the earlier tiers to make to more interesting for players that already played USA or USSR before, so I think it would be nice to see as a tech tree vehicle.

If there are heavy tanks from 4.0 to 9.0 like the Soviet Union or the United States, that’s no problem. But China lacks heavy tanks, and adding a heavy tank in the middle of a medium tank is too different. And according to the rules of GAIJIN, it will never be on the technology tree. It’s either a gift package or an activity. If it is an activity, many players in China will no longer have heavy tanks to play except IS2.
