Anyword on Gripen E 3d model or its MAW getting sensor fusion?
Also is there a reason the new ELC can’t turn its turret 360 when stationary?
no idea tbh, its french :)
Saab states it can detect different missiles and deploy appropriate CM so id
Oh you meant ELC my b

what they said on a bug report
Nooooooo
Welp this BP is dead to me
its still only 2 axis on which the nozzles move
left-right and up-down
if you had a single engine aircraft with one of those engines it would only have 2D TVC, pitch and yaw
YES.
However, if they hand us 5 daily backups per nation…
I would actually think about it being great. Or at least, that’s a possibility for a bump on the concept.
this is also a yes, but there’s a couple nuances, like the guided missile systems (ADATS, Pantsir, ItO), they’re quite reliable even on absolute stock configuration, same kinda goes for the Ozelot, and overall MANPADS (albeit knowing their limitations).
They should have parts, First improved round, thermals and expert crew. I believe LRF is way too much of a prize for a free vehicle to actually get resources for zero repair costs.
yep, cant have anything decent to help specific vehicles
Idk why they dint juat implement a system like the strv 103. I mean gaijin doesn’t care about fixing that vehicle and all its problems either so why not add another redundant system like stationary mode
its gonna come as a 10,000 GE upgrade for the ECL fr fr
Indeed! It would also incentivise grinding multiple nations: increasing player literacy by making it easier not to get stuck as single nation m*ins and increasing profits by having more people grind more and potentially spend more.
5 daily backups PER nation would indeed be a win-win for Gaijin and the players!
Ah, yes, I was more specifically referring to the MBTs.
Maybe that’s a more realistic compromise to push for, yes!
The reports would be updated if there was.
There is no mechanic currently in game to provide different turret rotational traverse limits if a vehicle is moving or stationary. So it isn’t possible in game currently to replicate (as it only gains 360 traverse when stationary).
Im mean Strv 103 kind of has that system and i mean its buggy beyond mess given it shakes like crazy and any round hitting you will leave you stuck shaking lol
Its not the same system. That controls aiming mode.
The ELC has a different turret traverse system when stationary to moving with regards to limits.
Eh, it’s a little different
With the STRV103 it’s a mouse aim toggle basically (If youre insane you can still aim using the keybindings for the suspension adjustment)
With the ELC it would be dynamic traverse limits, which I don’t think is a thing in game anywhere
Why do you guys introduce vehicles that have a mechanic not yet seen in game, and then just not add said mechanic with the vehicle? Seems like a wasted opportunity, even if it is such a relatively minor mechanic.
It’s already a miracle that Gaijin is giving us free backups, so I wouldn’t expect them to ever increase that amount.
The extra tank sure is nice and the idea behind giving everyone access to a SPAA is amazing, but the execution definitely is lacking.
The regular tanks definitely need at least some mods pre-installed, other than that, there really isn’t anything they should change there.
Now, the extra SPAA feels like a “sounded good on the paper” situation. I’ve got several issues with the current implementation and I don’t think there are any easy solutions available.
Everyone having access to a SPAA is a great thing, don’t get me wrong, but it now feels like bringing a SPAA in your lineup is a bit of a waste. The only reason I still keep SPAAs in my high rank lineups is that this way I can guarantee which SPAA is available to me, as otherwise that would be random (at least for some nations).
For a lot of SPAAs, the lack of modules really doesn’t matter much at all, so (to me, at least) it feels like unlocking and spading SPAAs was a waste of time.
The extra SPAA should have been something like a generic SAM or AAA emplacement, similar to how the “free” access to CAS is covered by a drone, rather than a random plane, however that requires be a lot more effort than I would expect from Gaijin.
Two minor issues I have with the system is that 1) whenever there is a gun SPAA available, people are bound to use them as tank destroyers and 2) these SPAAs tend to needlessly stretch out matches, but that’s just how it is.
im a bit surprised people are complaining about it
I think an overlooked point with the whole “free vehicles” thing is the fact that they were only introduced, because the grind is so demanding, that newcomers/existing players would just buy premiums expecting things to faster, however that isn’t entirely the case. None of this would be necessary if all RP and SL costs were reduced by at most 10%-20% (researching modules should not be equivalent to unlocking a new tank, module research should be reduced by like 50%).
