Then why did Gaijin give the 2020s Leopard 2A7V the values (and barely) from a pre-2A5 prototype from the Swedish trials from the 1990s? Because they don’t want to make a guesstimation patring from the premise that, maybe, just maybe, the 2020s tank could be using improved technology compared to some early 1990s one.
Why does the 2008 M1A2 SEPv2 have the exact same armor as the 1990 M1A1HC even though it’s confirmed that, at the very least, the whole turret uses a brand new generation armor package? Because they don’t have any specific numbers and they would rather keep it outdated than guesstimated.

still think my favourite change is when they make a change (normally a nerf) they wont cite the source they used for it and if you want to change it you need multiple primary sources stating the original change is wrong lol

yeah idk how gaijin thinks the armour from a tank from the 2020s somehow didnt improve the from the 90s, im waiting for the challenger 3P to have same armour as the challenger 2 from the 90s as well lmao

Leopards 2A7Vs still have spall linears? And yet even if it is underperforming in the armor section, is not completely dominant enough to rule as the best tank in the game? Again, internal armor changes are hard to predict what the upgrade is.

How do you expect them to buff something when there is like 0 info on how the armor got reworked or a new package of armor. If there was additional information that due to so n so the armor is quite stronger sure. They could make a reasonable guesstimate.
Other than these 2, back to jets. Flight models to rcs (like for F-117 which has a very very decent rcs headon, working against even modern aesa radars in game) are all based on simulations.
It’s most likely gonna be a set number solution
There will be a number for the plane while its bay is closed and one for while its bay is opened
If they apply the same logic as they use for the RAH-66, the external hardpoints won’t even make a difference
The heat signatures are probably going to be completely screwed up (F-5C levels of stupidity, if I had to guess)

Pretty much does, generally 3 different rcs values are in front side and rear. Much better than dcs slop which actually uses 1 value.
It will probably make stratergies using stealth much different in future (if gaijin cooks with their aerial warfare mode)
probably lol, I still remember their dumb solution to make the harriers work which ended up making the thrust on seahawks insane it was kinda funny, im still waiting for helicopters in general to have their rotors take into account for their radar signature

its still so dumb that the challenger 3TD got a new damage model, then when we asked for the challenger 2s to get the same model or a rework they instead give the 3TD the 2s model which doesnt even line up with the actual model its so funny

we have had the EC mode in WT for years but they refuse to make that an actual game mode outside of sim I have very little hope that mode will be good (waiting for the giant maps with dynamic objectives and they only give you a single life)
