Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Because US

Well, afaik the US was supposed to get one for testing as well

Maybe a Japanese MV-22B if it can be proven the weapons are capable of being fitted.

Supposedly the Block C which they use has the provisions for the IDWS turret but it hasn’t been fitted. If it can then perhaps it’s possible to argue for the Hydra pods and AGM-176 missiles. (If the aircraft that tested it was a Block C I’ve been looking for that but can’t find anything conclusive.)

Well we don’t even know enough about the M1E3 to make any claim regarding that.

Only thing we have seen so far is that picture of what looks like a proof of concept/tech demonstrator. Hardly the final product since they seemed to have just used a spare M1A1 turret.

Because specifically what you wanted to see in game did not appear, does not mean what I said was a lie or that we are somehow not following feedback for Japan. So it would be appreciated if you do not throw such claims around. Many requested vehciles for Japan have been introduced.

The addition of the Thai, Malaysian and Indonesian sub trees were all the largest and most popular requests from the community for Japan as a whole over the last few years. And we have been working to implement those requests.

AbramsX then?

Dunno what else to compare the Leo 2A8 to

Canadian vehicles have been distributed to the US as well as the UK and Germany.

Terrible policy to split an operator nation among different tech trees.

They can’t turn all nations into subtrees or seperate tech trees

They can do nation folders or something for the larger ones like Canada and Australia though. Sub trees are already a failed concept.

Sure, they could

But do you think they are gonna do that?

500 more top tier premiums

I can hope, but that’s why I said the current status quo is a terrible policy. It doesn’t work well.

Yeah?
Well, last time i saw a WWII plane for Japan was in march 2021 with the A6M5 HEI, a foldered vehicle after the A6M5.
Or, when was the last WWII tank for the Japanese TT that wasn’t a premium?

It’s not just me. Tons of others want more WWII equipment. Tons of players have left the game because of the lack of additions. Resulting in more newer players coming in, buying their way into top tier, and ruining the entire matchmaker with full spaded premiums and who leave after one death.

Yes, Malaysia was great, despite it being just 3 vehicles which are just more Russian and US equipment inside of the TT, atleast we now got KH-38 missiles. Indonesia are just 2 vehicles, one helicopter and a premium hawk for 70 bucks…

Thailand has been one of the better sub-TT’s, with a T-80 OPLOT which doesn’t have it’s correct armour values, and despite the amount of evidence you report, its never enough.
M163 ánd M60 which didn’t exist.
While something else besides an F-5 airframe seems difficult to be added over the year.

It does work well, even if not everyone is happy with it

There are sub trees that have been added which will never see strong representation of the nation as a whole because they’re too large to fit in the tree they were assigned to.
There are tech trees that have loads of domestic equipment that may never be added because they were saddled with sub trees and there is finite space in a tech tree.
And there are many angry players seeing their home nation’s vehicles sent to multiple different tech trees locking away lineups forever because Gaijin’s policy is to do so.
Seems like a failed system to me.

I don’t mean to be rude, but what has been accomplished? The Ki-102 still lacks ground combat armament, there are no Japanese CAS aircraft above rank I, and the F-2 arrived clearly too late. It’s been a long time since there was a new Japanese low-ranking vehicle that wasn’t a premium vehicle.

BeNeLux is a prime example of this.

I wonder how KF51 will look in the game, if it’s going to have famous Italian “heavy air” or not, considering Italy as well as Hungary are planning to get it.

Hungary is forgotten, just like Finland.
Like, when was the last Hungarian addition to the TT?

Switzerland and India as well I think.
