I really don’t know why they would split the Plasan into three variants when the BGTI could just be a mod for the LEP.

Different branches of the tree

The BGTI whilst having better thermals (Same as the warrior in game), it never got the EM235 upgrades like the LEP (better engine with 235HP and final drives etc)

Edit: Is the slat armour even tied to the BGTI upgrade IRL?

BGTI Ones where used to support the Challengers, so where deemed the only ones to “need” it iirc.

Anyways, as I’ve said, three seperate Scimitars seems a bit excessive when two of them could be merged into a single entry

TBF Some of them might not even see the light of day, Gaijin like to commission similar variants at the same time, even if they don’t come. Personally I’d like to see them all (In folders of course).

How much more does the one with the garden fence weigh?

The BGTI not sure, but the Mk.2 has a max weight of 12 tonnes with all the addon armour [1]

Yup, I’ve got the feeling that either the LEP or BGTI model might end up being unused (for forseeable future at least)

I’d much rather see a Jordanian Scimitar being used as a premium than one of the three in the files

Not really? IIRC just the petrol → diesel swap. They have a few one off upgrades for the Scorpion, but that’s really more Event/BP fodder Gaijin pls FV101 Kastet

Pretty sure Jordans Scimitars got the same engine upgrades as the LEP

I’d want towed guns in a separate WW1/2 infrantry mode please (similar to how you see in CoH or MoW) … coz very few FPS games let you move those dang things … and in WT you get AI squadmates.

LEP was Petrol → Diesel. Only LEP EM235 gets a higher HP
Jordan kept their Scimmies pretty stock with no FCS installations or anything AFAIK

EM235 was a 2010s thing, the last Scimitar transfer to Jordan happened 2006.
