Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Would I like to see it in game ASAP? Hell yeah, it looks good.

Will it be added that quickly? Yeah no, seeing as we know vehicles can take 6 months or more to research, model and fully implement.

you say while asking for a copy paste jet lmao

They also haven’t done it before plenty of times.

This is all I’m saying. I’m fine with the AESA EFT being added next update as long as Gaijin adds as many counterparts as possible alongside it. Those cpunterparts include the F-15EX.

But Morvran claiming that the F-15C GE is somehow an AESA EFT counterpart was just too stupid for me not to respond to yesterday.

I think Su-30MKM can take on the role of 14.0 if Gaijin add it.

HOSBO/HOPE are apparantly also being integrated to the Typhoon by Germany, so that would be an option (probably a more realistic one as well)

And based on Gaijins implementation of Brimstones on non-British Typhoons and Tornados giving each nations most advanced Tornado HOSBO and GBU 39s (SDBs) should be an option as well

The hornet and superhornet are different planes, they got the same designation mostly to convince the US congress that the superhornet was but a cheap upgrade, which it was not

HOSBO was at least fitted to a Typhoon, and I think test fired as well. But the program has been terminated a while ago, it’s not happening anymore. Apparently SPICE-250 are planned for T5 or maybe even already integrated tho

The Aussie Super Hornet would be copy paste as the US would be getting it first or in the same update

Gaijin put HOSBO on the Tornado SLE, so that clearly isn’t a problem

Sure thing, but it wouldn’t be copypaste from what we have now
Also the aussie one is a twin seater so it’d get a new model

I know, I was just correcting you because you spoke of HOSBO in present tense

Only if Gaijin doesn’t choose to give the US a twin seater as well lol

Theorically they won’t, they said they won’t add twin seaters when there is a direct single seater counterpart. Though adding the twin seater variant would make sense if they add the superhornet as a strike aircraft (which it should be)

no the point is your suggesting a jet that will go to the US and maybe get copy pasted into the british tree so its still a copy paste jet lol

We all know how lazy Gaijin is, it would be weird for them to model seperate Super Hornets when they can just use one for two nations

True, not that bad anyway since the F/A-18F looks better than the E imo
Could get a VFA-103 livery too

I feel like a lot of two-seaters look better.

but not always

Yeah lol, overall I’d say usually the larger ones (like the Eagle, Superhornet and the Flankers) look better with two seat canopies and the smaller ones (like the Eurocanards) look better with single seat canopies

also hornet is about as big as a f16

For the most part, yeah. I think the Rafale Two-Seater looks nice though :)
