Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

The thing is, I don’t see any reason not to go for a F-15I with an AN/APG-82(V)1 radar at this point.

Historical accuracy clearly has become a very minor factor when it comes to new additions and variant hybrids aren’t anything new either, so just slapping the AN/APG-82(V)1 on an F-15I would be a quick and easy solution that wouldn’t require a subtree.

I’m saying it again;

Turkey major, with Greece subtree, Cyprus (both flavours) Premiums, and a growth option for Bulgaria.

Byzantine TT

Not entirely the JA37D was the swedish service Viggen with aim 120. In game its artificially limited to give them a 12.0 vehicle. The JA37Di was the export model i standing for international but Gaijin was too lazy to change the cockpit to english.

The F21 is just a sqaudron specific camo for a JA37D just called a Di as again Di was for export.

F21 isn’t something crazy its just another way to add a copy but with its model made to represent a specific squadron like if we got a premium F-35 WDNS we could get one with the 6-1 dynamite camo

Exactly.

Nothing stopping them from adding a Kfir C10 [Insert appropriate squardron here]

In what world?

Gripen E: >5000 kg weapon load
Typhoon: >9000 kg weapon load

Typhooon can have a maximum of 2+6 fox-3 weapons fit, whilst the Gripen E can have 2+7.

Might not have been the best use of terms. But technically The Gripen E can run more Fox-3s

export?

The “(vehicle name) [squadron number/pilot name]” vehicles always are premiums, so that solution wouldn’t work

We were talking about weight because you said “‘heavier’ weapons load”.

If push comes to shove. I doubt that would actually stop them.

Or they can make the event one into said version

7 AMRAAMs do technically weight more than 6.

But it was the wrong terminology to use

Yes iirc its just a change of cockpit to bring it to a international level from renaming all the swedish instruments to english for ease of use as most vehicles use english for export. Even the Swedish service Gripen C’s use english

Yeah, but you can load additionally four 1000 lb bombs (or 2x 1000 lb + 2x 2000 lb) or twelve Brimstones on the Typhoon without sacrificing AA weapon load.

Looking at this purely from an A2A PoV.

I know Gaijin think GBUs are OP in A2A combat, but the rest of us know it isnt.

If we talk about “weapon load” in general, every armament counts :)
Didn’t know the discussion was limited to A2A.

It was about F-15EX being a hard requirement for Typhoon to get AESA (assuming in the context of ARB)

But Rafale is fine with AESA and Gripen E is no issue at all to be added

Why does the US tree even need the F-15EX if they already got one AESA radar plane with the F-15C GE the last update? Does the F-15EX have a MAW to set it apart except its ground armament?

Kinda what im asking.

Typhoon getting AESA is being treated like it would make it suddenly super OP

Gripen E will just be the F15E for sweden. Why people assume its EFT level is beyond me lol

Basic research would tell anyone that much, it shouldn’t be the same BR as the EFT or Rafale if we get new BR ceilings.

So your argument is that the F-15C going to F-15GE did nothing

But going from Typhoon with CAPTOR-M to Typhoon with CAPTOR-E would suddenly break the game?

I still dont understand this argument?

What next? Typhoon wont be allowed IRIS-T / ASRAAM when everyone else gets equivalents? Because “Reasons”

Gripen E gets MMW Brimstone 3s but god forbid the Typhoon gets anything other than SAL Brimstone 1s?

Rafale F4 with METEOR, but Anything more than C5s is too OP for the Typhoon?
