I mean that will be hell of a lot of suffering to grind the Thailand tree, getting literally the worst two MBTs at the end of the line.
From what I heard it’s not even a good vehicle so they’re really crying for nothing at all
If i had acces to these models ingame, i would change them myself to look more like the variants shown here.
devblogs this week?
It’s still weird that we haven’t gotten the Ki-20, it would be one of the biggest bombers ingame right?
Allow me to one up you
Spoiler

That thing first flight was in 1932.
You can’t compare these two.
It was designed after the Junkers G.38 and had a wingspan of 44 meters, with a bombload of 5000kg’s. Which Japan doesn’t currently have ingame.
Yes, the Mitsubishi Ki-20 is huge, but I think there are still bigger planes in the game.

Honestly, I would rather get new Aichi E13A1 Ko, Aichi A16A2, Aichi M6A1, Kawanishi H8K4 than have them replace existing vehicles from the game.

And for those seaplanes we of course need some seaplane tenders!
Them and submarines would be my most sought after additions.
Yeah, we need more Japanese WWII models in general.
Japan is really underrepresented when it comes to WWII and cold war ground and air additions.
I plan to write suggestions about Akitsushima. When your carrier plane is an H8K 👍
There are currently 207 Japanese aircraft suggestions on the forum (I’m not sure if that includes the number of accepted suggestions). I also have 15 pending suggestions, and I’m not even halfway there. Probably, if I write down all the planned suggestions, there will be around 400 aircraft and aircraft armament suggestions for Japan.
and none will be added. :(
But i admire your effort! I really wish i didn’t get annoyed about all the rules they keep changing for the suggestions.
I’m guessing either next week or the week after for dev blogs, but either this week or next week we should see the Q&A or the CM Blog.
Sometimes I think about giving up, but then I probably won’t get any more suggestions for Japan. Gajin effectively discourages people from posting suggestions. You post suggestions about, for example, the Fuji T-1, knowing you probably won’t see it. My calculations show that I’ve definitely spent more time on the War Thunder forum than in the game itself (I’ve spent almost 1,100 hours in the game, and at least 2,000 hours on the forum).
I recommend taking a break when it begins to feel like a chore. If you enjoy researching and making the forum posts then you should treat it like a hobby and not a chore!
It’s enjoyable, and I enjoy doing it. And I take frequent breaks because I quickly lose motivation.
Yeah making suggestions can be frustrating some times, especially when you make them and they sit for months pending and one you made a week ago gets approved. Or when a suggestion gets denied and you don’t know why so you ask a suggestion mod but end up having to wait days for the mod to respond.
I’ve been wanting to make a sister suggestion to one I have currently pending (since August) but before I go through the effort of making it I asked a mod if the initial suggestion would be fine to be approved (not asking for them to approve it but just asking if it did come up for review would it be approved?) and if similar suggestions were also acceptable, that was 3 days ago.
You know, suggestion moderators are volunteers, and there are only a handful of them. Let’s say the forum receives 20 suggestions a day, count how many there are in a month. And suggestion moderators are volunteers; they have their own lives, jobs, and families; they don’t stay on the forum 24/7. Additionally, Gajin rarely opens up recruitment for new moderator suggestions, which is a very poor policy. Statistically, there are probably more suggestions each year, and the number of moderators hasn’t increased significantly.
I accept that we have to wait for suggestions, they may even wait a few months.
