Probably because they mostly play GRB and infantry could destroy GRB depending on how it is implemented
I’m sure this will weigh down the game to the point where I’ll be forced to play with lower graphics just to get 60fps on my poor potato PC, an RTX 2050.
I think infantry could be cool. Gives mixed loadouts of shells more of a point and makes IFVs not just kinda pointless most of the time outside of being gucci ATGM carriers.

And Infantry? Is it only going to be USA and Russia, or is every nation getting Infantry?

Because infatry shouldn’t be in this game. So unless it is a separate gamemode that wont interfere with my tank v tank game, I’m not playing anymore.

That is a good question and a very cool idea imo. Though I mostly meant as in IFVs excel at fighting infantry specifically. So it gives them more of a point in that respect.
