nope su30sm/mkm/f18e/f15c will struggle against rafale , t4 eft , gripen e
Well another unique Benelux prop is pretty much confirmed to come in the next few updates in the 3.7 - 4.7 BR range, but it would be reaaally welcome to finally get a proper ground subtree or atleast unique additions there
Ngl I think that we will see rank 9 aviation this update. (With the Rafale and maybe old EFT/Su30 going up as well)
gripen E is slow too
Essentially, the F-15SG is an F-15EX without EPAWSS and with a different radar. (To put it bluntly)
UPD: Oh, I forgot, he doesn’t have any additional pylons on his wings.
Greece use the F.3R EG, so i’m expecting it to be functionally identical to the french one currently, with additional Meteors, MICA IRs and sbu1000s when they come to the game.
If they choose to add it without additional pylons or HMD, I’ll probably foam at the mouth and die of irony
I guess we could probably see F-15EX in less than 6 months then, since they want to make sure 5th gens dont come before the first half of 2026, i.e. filling out the rest of 4th gen by then?
They’ll add it with the additional pylons and HMD most likely, no reason otherwise tbh.
Just saying, get ready for gaijin double standard (cue Baz Meshupar situation)
Don’t worry though, Rafale get substantial buffs every major update and gets the most attention out of all top tier jets.
Yeah my guess would be F-15EX in the May-June update of 2026.
F-16C PoBIT and F-16V sometime next year too. Maybe as the September or November update as that would give the US, China (Taiwan) and Israel (Greece) another AESA platform and something to finish out 4th gens before we get 5th gens which I reckon will be in the December update.
6 months wait for something that should be ingame by tomorrow at 15pm, kinda cringe imo.
This really just comes down to room to grow TBH… Ground kind of hit a limit a while ago in terms of what to add for the most part, most of the “further options” I’ve seen are just things like EMBT and the like, vehicles that are either concepts or prototypes, not real production examples or in service. Sure there’s things like the later SEP V3/4 but there just isn’t the same room for growth like there is in air. This is just the reverse of what was the norm from 2018-2021-ish, where there were maybe 3 or so planes of varying BR’s while a new MBT generation was every update. Ground just progressed too fast for ‘stable’ increases in capability to remain constant past a certain point.
I’m not saying there’s nothing to add, it’s just the pool for realistic additions is quite limited compared to what air still has to go in terms of significant additions.
A argument could be made for the AESA
I do believe that Greece doesn’t operate AASM, so they potentially might have a bit worse CAS
they will still get them
because the rafale is compatible with them
Check again, they maintain the capacity to, and officially have the hammer, feel free to dispute with the hellenic air force website and photographers though
I haven’t seen those photos :/
I say this because last I saw the buying agreement was comprised of rafales, MICAs, Meteor and Exocets, but AASM weren’t mentioned
Teaser dropped yet?
nope. there has to be mod activity
