Ya, it’s better than not even a few years ago, but still not great. And it sounds like it’s going to go back to worse.
Once you remove stuff, a F2P player(who doesn’t have 6+ hours to spend on events) can’t get it, there is next to nothing for them.

Used to play ot a lot on PC, had a disc version and the Steam version. And recently got it on Xbox.
Also, I cracked with Nagato and got her, couldn’t hold myself any longer. She is great! Just disappointed about the price tag, should’ve been tech tree…

Like… as far as I know, the Yamatos continue to be one-hit-death machines because any hits below the fore turrets consistently detonate the ammunition storages. That’s why I stopped playing Japan before even reaching them, they just seem like a huge disappointment, hahah.
Meanwhile, Nagato is basically Bismarck on Steroids.
Also, same! BS:P was the game that got me into Battleships and Naval Warfare. I was 10 back then, had it for the xbox.
Haha yeah, that’s totally true. I myself am guilty of targeting any Yamato or Musashi I see first, as they are basically RP and SL piñatas. I’m now grinding for them, knowing full well of the torture I’m getting myself into after that…
Yeah, I’ve not been very successful with Bismarck compared to Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, but Nagato seems my personal best ship right now. Can even somewhat reliably duel a Soyuz :D
Ahh, the nostalgia haha, the Japanese fleet sailing below the Golden Gate bridge and US surrender aboard Yamato was such a cool sight after that awesome campaign!

Yeah; right now, the best German ship is Gneisenau… once again, a Premium lol.
And best of all; it’s somehow just 7.7 even though it’s better than most 8.7s and certainly much better than Bismarck at 8.3.
If anything, they should have their BRs switched… Gneisenau’s armor (same as Scharnhorst) is like a hundred times better than Bismarck’s.
AT MOST, they should both be the same BR; 8.0, as sidegrades; with Gneisenau trading 2 guns for better armor.

I wouldn’t be hoping too much for new ground maps with the answer we got regarding small maps from the Q&A. Next map probably going to be Nuke Town, same size as the COD map so you can’t move and have 1 team spawn behind the other team. Just one big spawn trap since that’s apparently what everyone wants.

I dont necessarily feel that is a bad thing. I think gaijin fixates too much on new vehicles and less so on:
- Bug fixes
- Finishing stuff
- New maps
- New gamemodes
- New Mechanics
etc etc

About as big as a little Tesco’s carpark should do it. But one team should spawn inside of the shop and have small gaps they can shoot through at the other team who have no cover at all.

From what we saw from BVVDs Q&A they clearly arent planning on moving away from that quick match/deathmatch style gameplay we have now. so i dont have any hopes now for anything good after that video tbh
