Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

that’s incorrect

there are Plenty of Prototypes in the US Ground tree

Context is key. This is in specific to the US Air tree

you wrote “the US has been denied any prototype being in the main research part of the tree, especially so in area’s where it actually needs stuff like the space between 5.0 and 7.0.”

and that is incorrect

since I cannot find a Gap in the US Air Research tree between 5.0 and 7.0 that isn’t at least twice as big in every other tree of the game I figured you meant ground

If you literallt follow the thread of messages its about the US Air Tree

That is, the first three vehicles are all premium aircraft.
Is there anything they need to tell us?

but then you’d be claiming the Single most Fleshed out tree in the entire game would require prototypes to be fleshed out even more

is that Russian Paper boat also Premium? I thought it was TT

Forgot about stalingrad eh?

that is an event I don’t consider it to be included in the next patch

no no the event is rhe AK225, I don’t mean that

If naval was making them just a penny more they’d 110% make it a premium.
Tech tree grind is obsolescent anyway amirite.

Seeing as russia got a premium battlecruiser of a similar nature 3* updates ago. I’m not surprised to see stalingrad as a tech tree ship

I hadn’t seen the ship’s devblog and in any case it will surely be broken like the Suyzz

Doubt it. I’ve been hearing it has less armour than the already fragile kronstadt.

Oh I defo am.
They can put it at a lower BR ( it’s insta OP) so they can use their “it’s not top BR” excuse.
Look at US rank 8, ain’t a thing stopping them from putting in more top rank slop
( Can we just mention how top tier premiums absolutely nullify any chances of stock grinding any tech tree vehicles at those BRs? No? Oh ye cuz devs just insta buy all mods and call stuff balanced)

After doing a cound of all nations both major and minor in the game this is the spread of aircraft between 5.0 and 7.0 for aircraft in the researchable part of the tech tree.

USA 5.0-7.0: 12
Germ 5.0-7.0: 19
USSR 5.0-7.0: 15
UK 5.0-7.0: 16
Japan 5.0-7.0: 15
China 5.0-7.0: 5
Italy: 5.0-7.0: 9
France 5.0-7.0: 8
Sweden 5.0-7.0: 3
Israel 5.0-7.0: 1

Out of the major the Major nations, the US has the least aircraft between 5.0 and 7.0, while in comparison to minor nations it only has the 2nd highest with Japan beating it in number of aircraft in that range. So no the US does not have the most fleshed out bracket between 5.0 and 7.0 for aircraft in the researchable part of the tech tree

that’s by no means a gap

sweden is what I’d call a gap

China maybe

we are talking about an incomplete Russian ship waiting for it to come out and dominate its br

I am so looking forward to South Dakota…

Second favourite ship in Battlestations Pacific, only second to Iowa- and they are basically the same functionally, except Dakota looks like the compact version and is a bit slower.

Guns may have a bit less penetration, but still; knowing it will have the same armor and survivability as Iowa is lovely! Finally U.S is eating well in Naval, with a lineup of 2 REALLY good spawns after years of barely functional ships.

it has 305mm guns that cannot be built with a Penetration they couldn’t achieve if they were built

the mere existence of this ship in game wouldn’t be so bad if there were similar ships in other trees
