I did say closest, they didn’t win, and the lack of care for WW2 is a big part of that. No one sub-tree did(which fuels when I call the system a failure from the start).

Eh id say had Hungary air actually had unique low to mid BR air options it would’ve won, ground was sorta solid with quite a few domestic vehicles and copy and paste used to fill gaps.

Was it needed yes but not implemented correctly so no. Was it unique no, was it a good fit, couldve been but no. Which fails all three. Especially as it didn’t fix gaps aside from 3.7 ground. Air still lacks a 5.x aircraft and only added vehicles to pre existing BR’s. Finland lacks any original content for the most part and still has yet to contribute anything meaningful to fix the BR’s

Of they did a nordic subtree with only the best parts of our forces, norway and denmark it would be alright as a subtree, but gaijin is too lazy for allat

I don’t see the need of Brazilian stuff not related to Italy either (although until Brazil has a place in the game Xavante, EE-18 Sucuri and Guarani are welcomed), just telling why people can ask for that. Plus you can see such claims regarding other nations represented in one or few vehicles in the game and not being officially assigned to a tree, for example Turkey, Spain, Argentina, Czechoslovakia.

For point 1. ZA wins hand down.
For point 2. The UK could replace everything with a domestic vehicle. The only vehicle the UK needed from ZA was the Gripen.
For point 3. Iffy, but failure, I find mixed info on why but they had all ties cut from Britain and the rest of the commonwealth/west for some time.
I couldn’t care less about our Leos, id rather they just not be added until they are actually needed when vehicles like the ETS series, M41DK, M55 (SPAA) are all unique and can fill gaps thats not the full list but just a rough summary for ground.
ZA fits britain significantly more than anyone else, and it’s not even close, unless you want an african independent tree
