hmmmmmm

nice

yes it was

Are we talking about the current counters or the things that would counter, it if it had Mokopas?

The current counters affect all Helis that have ATGMs with a launch range if 8km or less, that’s not unique to the Superhind.

If we are talking about things that would counter it with Mokopas, Spikes wouldn’t counter it and I’m pretty sure the Strela aren’t able to lock Helis at that distance.

Other than that, there should always be SAMs that can counter a Heli at its max range in a downtier and I am not aware of any SAM below 10.3 that could reach a Heli at a distance of 10km.

Planes shouldn’t be the only counter to Helis.

Spoiler

Was honestly expecting something else lol

You’re getting into the realm of self pity here.
Czechia → USSR is a controversial opinion, and if you are an advocate for that then you will be answering to a few people with flared tempers.

This isn’t a ‘collective hatred’ simply a reaction to a controversial topic

they said that they tested it internally but wouldnt implement it bc of griefing concerns

Not that it mattered, but Japan invaded the Dutch East Indies, and Indonesia didn’t yet exist at the time. Furthermore, the Japanese helped lay the foundations for what would become Indonesia.

Strela can with optical lock, plus heli IR signature has been increased this patch nerfing them against all IR weaponry

make’s sense

Yeah.

At 4:05, quote:

We’re not planning to add a separate “smoke artillery” feature. On the one hand, there’s no need for it — as the game already has vehicles capable of deploying smoke screens in a variety of different ways. On the other hand, that kind of artillery could easily become a toxic mechanic and not just a helpful tool. It might end up blocking visibility and interfering with teammates rather than helping them. We’ve actually tested smoke artillery in special events. Even in situations, where those events involved players with good communication and coordination, it never gained much popularity in its primary use. More often than not, it simply became a tool for griefing opponents and making gameplay worse for everyone. So we’re not planning to introduce standalone smoke artillery anymore.

Aight, the Strela is 10.3 as well though

Which is a shame, i’d like for you to be able to send arty or something to cover sightlines while you cross them (especially on maps like breslau or mosdok with long corridors of fire), but oh well

Funny how something as simple as smoke arty is deemed toxic, but not the addition of oppressive CAS elements like LDIRCM and KH-38MTs 🤔

tbh I’ve only used this a couple times, sometimes it worked, but normal artillery does already make some sort of cloud when the strike happens, the small window of time can be enough for you to slip away

Yeah, because that is just Russian.

i like to use the pantsir more than the buk. faster missile and easy to use and good and faster radar

Still effective upto top tier

BuK is a buggy mess, i have both in my lineup just dependent on map, pantsir works anywhere while Buk requires flat open terrain

irst lock is good counter to heli so you can launch in a suprise moment
