I think we might see a Hawk 208 as part of the Malaysian aircraft Gaijin plans to add “shortly after more Indonesian vehicles”
Malaysia also has a Hawk altho i dont remember its a specific version or not

But yeah Japan really needs some 10.X ground stuff so we can actually use some stuff like A-7E and now this Hawk without horribly uptiering something from 9.3
Can we please be shown exactly what the issue is with fitting the gunpod to the 200’s? All we have gotten is “it just doesn’t fit trust us” which isn’t the best excuse given the mountain of modelling issues the game already has, and from what we can see in the 209 announcement the model looks identical to the RDA which makes it even more confusing.
So please can we be shown exactly what the issue is?

Are you able to confirm how many Mavericks the Hawk 209 will be able to carry ingame? I’ve seen lots of people saying two but I can’t see any evidence of that in the devblog

Also interesting how AGMs are limited to the two seen in service rather than theoretical four, but air to air missiles are said to be “several”, rather than wingtip only as it’s seen in service.
I really wouldn’t mind either more AGMs so it’s better or less missiles for possibly lower BR, but if it’s inconsistent that’s weird. But I should probably wat for the dev server to see what “several” even means

Malaysian aircraft were planned to be added “shortly after” more Indonesian additions, so maybe one of the first two updates next year might have a Malaysian line.
I’d be surprised if it doesn’t include the A-4PTM

Hmmm…I thought yesterday that BVD claimed that premiums are not better than tech tree versions and are watered down versions. How is this watered down from the tech tree hawks? Similar to how the click bait is obviously watered down?
Before it is mentioned, I feel an excuse about “well this is a different nation (with no tech tree option), so it is ok.” That does not seem to meet the intent of the BVD statement in my opinion, but whatever.
British Hawks can have Aim-9L’s, which are superior to Aim-9P-4’s plus they can take more Mavs
So slight plus with gun pod but less with slight missile difference and number of mavericks. Got it. Wonder how the BR placements will align and how that will impact use? Will the premium be lower BR do you think possibly putting it in a better place than the tech tree ones?

which means the Hawk 209 will be a lower BR with better MAV which makes it better not to mention getting the gun pod after being told the hawk 200 couldn’t fit it
