Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

For you and me sure, but anyone who had a less than good internet connection living idk, in a rural zone for example would be out of luck.

It explicitly required you to have a good ping by the basics of how computer latency works. If you didnt have a good ping, you were in the struggle bus with it. Like, thats not even arguable lol, its physics xD

If only Gaijin would put in the effort to make systems like the Starstreak more useable by making the guidance work more like they would IRL…

Biggest reason why I’m still annoyed about the OSA and Strela to this day is that they will serve as an excuse for Gaijin to pull when asked about when we would get the Cactus

@Smin1080p_WT may I ask if it would be possible to report Trophys on an specific Plattform?
Like, gaijin hasnt added new Trophys to console since ~8 years, would be nice if we would also have Trophys for nations like Israel/Sweden/China

Err

No thank you

Russian stuff in the french tree seems out of place. Lepards were already bad enough

Might also want to see what those mainly impacted by this placement have to say about it.

African or arab i don’t mind though

yet another example of Chinese vehicles or features always being released later than all the other vehicles of other nations. This shows that the attitude of Gaijin towards the Chinese vehicles is below that of all other trees. If this isn’t bias I don’t know what is

Also why can’t Gaijin add the T-80BVM production model 2023 and interesting IFVs like the BMPT?

Because there won’t be a big difference between the 2023 version and the one we have in game.

Since there is not enough proof for the improved reverse speed for Gaijin to implement that without major backlash from other nation players.

Might still be nice lineup filler though.

they can just add a modification with the better trans

The only T-80 thing that would be an actual upgrade over the BVM imo would be the object 219M with burlak which is just a T-80BVMesque hull and a new turret with better armor and possibly an aps and an improved reload(not 100% sure on this one).

I am also a massive shill for burlak so I am kinda biased but i dont think it would really be to bad of a tank to add and its actually a real thing that fired its gun unlike the object 640 so…

Adding the better transmission would break every standard Gaijin has had for proof and means they would have to backtrack on a lot of decisions they made in the past or face backlash.

The only way Russia is getting an MBT with a reverse speed faster than 10kph is either through some 80s-90s prototype none of which are really top tier worthy or even on par with the T-80BVM or the T-14 which is kinda abit much to add atm.

Its weird they didn’t put a better reverse on them sooner, even Finland got a 22kph reverse out of the T72 FIN MOD 2

A lot of other techtrees get treated like this.

For this specific example I’d say Germany is the best comparison, and how long they took to get GDR operated Russian aircraft.
But that is by far not the only example of other nations being treated even worse.

I agree China isn’t treated right either, but outside of maybe US / USSR (and even those have bad times) the other nations are too.
It’s mainly just Gaijin making poor balancing decisions rather than genuine bias.

My current theory is that it was because Olivia was leaking stuff way ahead of time, such as Infantry. She doesn’t leek nearly as much as other leakers and has mainly been all about Infantry recently. I suspect atleast a couple leakers will stop to avoid C&D but I doubt the largest will. Mostly because they hide their identity very well.

Come on, gaijin just found scapegoats because of the chinese review bombing.
A very simple reason in the gaijin style.

That’s probably what’s going on here.

But even then, I feel like this is a terrible decision on Gaijins part. Leaks, especially early ones like this, offer an entirely non-consequential stream of feedback for Gaijin.
The community can vouce opinions that Gaijin can base further actions on, entirely without having to ever take responsibility, and with enough time to make changing a plan reasonable.

The only situation where leaks don’t help Gaijin is when they specifically want to oppose the community with irreversible “it’s done now, too late to change” actions that go against what they believe the playerbase would benefit from.
So seeing this now does seem very concerning.

All it means is that we’re still going to get screwed with but without knowing what’s going to hit us until the last moment.

I guess Gaijin took this as a challenge lol

Reddit first post is a leaker being sent a cease & desist, but these guys are Chinese and probably get their info from their local client side.

I always thought the “leakers” are fed information from gaijin, and it looks like it is over.
