You joke, but the ROC F-16 has to grind through stock/mod Aim-9Ps in order to unlock anything better. Most American planes also require Aim-7Ms before you unlock Aim-120s which is almost offensive.

Quite excited for the FR-1, it’s one of my favorite planes out there. Should make a decent rank 3 or 4, I just hope it doesn’t cost too much.
With the potential addition of the Fireball, I’d also like to express hope that further additions of post ww2 props will be a growing trend, there are so many that are yet to be added, buried by the constant demand for top tier aircraft. The player base often forgets that War Thunder isn’t just meant to be a grindfest, you also ought to have fun from time to time.

9X, Meteor and IRIS-T may be a tad too much… but fixed 120s and 9Ms would at least be somewhat closer to the MICA/R77-1/R73/Alikes in performance.

Oh come on now, for all we know, this could easily mean that the radar was tested on a testbed that the Air Force itself has, doesn’t inherently mean it’s fielded or anything of that sort.
Arguing over distinctions, I could easily say that the aircraft ingame is actually supposed to be F4.1 and should be renamed to that, and that carries more validity.
So now we got the M55.
What about the 2S7? Seems like a pretty funny vehicle to play
