I’d be very torn about such an update
On one hand there are plenty of copy paste additions that I’d support (imported vehicles operated by main nations, tech tree variants of premium/event/squadron vehicles)
But on the other hand there also are a lot of copy paste additions that I’d be vehemently against (lend-lease, trials, captured vehicles, subtree spam)
M7 priest, Humber my top 2 low BR additions
Also bonus for Morris Bofors
Cough cough (2 of them are used by Danmark.)
Also why are there like no videos on the F-35 for warthunder. Theres like maybe 5 and thats it. Would’ve figured more people would play it. But i guess 10.7 in ground somehow at a higher BR than a Tornado makes sense why no one would play it lol.
I think what @StormRyder13 was suggesting is an update that is entirely focussed on copy pasting existing vehicles
Can’t agree with this one, it’s just another SPAA that would be abused as a SPG
Honestly could be nice as one of the smaller updates, just focus on adding as many options as possible with the least effort, really min/max an update.

As long as they are different in some gameplay effecting way (and not tidal wave of identical M55/M44s), I’m all in for that. Where Crusader MK1 or the late variants of the MK2 and MK3?

Depends on ammo given, but some nation dont have good low BR SPAA.
Stop putting words in my mouth, all I was saying is South Korea doesn’t need to be a tree yet for their tech to come, never was never will we have countless examples of tech coming before their main tree arrives

Call me crazy, but for the average player the (I dont even know what to call them) Bofors-like vehicles are not good SPAAs
Having a relatively low RoF and only a single gun makes the Bofors SPAAs much harder to use than the multi gun SPAAs
As someone that likes to play SPAAs in their intended role, I can tell you that I try to avoid using the Bofors ones, as there usually are more reliable alternatives

I only play the swedish ones as TD’s since they are the only nation to have sub 1000ms ammo making aircraft nearly impossible to shoot down so theres no point lol.
Besides i doubt Gaijin would add the M55 to sweden and some players dont want sweden to have a 50 cal truck even if the chassis is unique. Same deal with why people dont want sweden to get the Sisu 6x6 with the 23mm cannon for a 5.3 spaa

No he didn’t, he was saying why should the K9 an SPH (Self Propelled Howitzer) has to do about it being a big difference between the Norwegian K9 and the K2PL.

If SPAAs in general had more aiming assistance (which they probably should have, considering that the militaries put a lot of work into making AA guns as easy to use as possible to improve chances of success), getting more single gun, low RoF SPAAs would be cool (even if they get abused as TDs)
But as it stands the 40mm Bofors vehicles (and similar gun setups) are rather sub-optimal AA solutions. It’s a shame that so many people don’t want SPAAs unless they can shred tanks…

Could add any if these, its pretty annoying being forced to use a 2.3 SPAA with terrible velocity and turret rotation until 5.3 or i use the M24dk as a SPAA, but it doesn’t matter since people are against these thing being added lol. Guess those 3 leopards are so good they negate any other problem like being the worst air tree for jets and helicopters or numerous gaps in the TT. Truly the favorite child of the snail lmao.

To be fair, the velocity and the rotation speed are fine, it’s the elevation speed that makes the Pbv 301 borderline useless
