They are in certain ways. All have decent FM’s, alot of ARH and sit at lower BR’s. They all lack the pure performance edge of Typhoon and Rafale, so they get to club the BR range of 13.0 to 13.7
so then BR speeration like last time, move all 13.3-14.3 up by 0.3 to decompress rhe 12.0-12.7 range for aircraft without ARH/SARH capabilities
They are not awful to fight against, and the EFT and Rafale are clearly far more OP.
That wouls be great and logical, but they don’t care. Su-30MK2 AMV has just been added and had added to the existing problem

This one would benefit from decompression. It’s not on par with the 27SM but definitely better than MiG-29SMT
It is an oppreasive cycle when they have ARH and you don’t, so you have to sit low and hope you don’t get unlucky multipathing
How it was on the dev server with 6 missiles and no HMD was honestly fine, hell even with all the flight performance buffs that version with only 6 missilss and no HMD would now be pretty okay in terms of balance.

Surely in the December patch we will see thr Swiss Ground tree with its Panzer 87 140
People already slate Typhoon for not having lots of missiles, remove its HMD and 2 extra missiles and people would actually think its terrible

All of these were really strong at worst or pretty overpowered at best.
So yeah if it’s being put in the same line as these vehicles the EFT it’s not really “not that big of a deal”.
Only reason the EFT gets undersold so much is because the Rafale exists.

I would hope for new HOBS though. AMRAAM IDK, but if they can do sth about C5s they could make it better, but then everyone else will likely get equivalents.

ARH arent that difficult to defend.
In my personal experience, 12.7 vs. 13.7 power difference feels pretty similar to 13.7 vs. 14.3 power difference. Of course, it’s subjective and could be different for you
Rafale is carried by Gaijin’s interpretation of MICA, that is only thing that is truly proping it up

But yeah the EFT will get undersold no matter what. I still remember the “it’s flight performance is only good for gun dogfighting” phase.
