to be completely fair the EFT I get as it helped 3 nations, the rafale I think should have been an earlier variant instead of one with an AESA radar

Why not at a gamemode for the br’s 1.0 to 8.0 where a match exists of 32 players per team with 8 bombers, 6 strike aircraft and the rest?
Adding more ground targers like trains, bridges, factories and cities.
This makes the game around these br’s more unique instead of being super blend.
I think the only reason why these lower tiers aren’t enjoyed as much is because of the lack of variety in targets, players etc… You know have 16v16 with slow props, if you had like 32v32 and a slightly bigger map, this would create a more versitile playing experience.
This does not create much work, since there already bridges, trains and other targets in the game. Just add more of them and increase the map bounderies. Just a few config changes.
Eurofighter has been okay. I still think it came a bit early, I don’t know much about Eurofighter Tranche and Blocks so I don’t know if an earlier version could’ve come that would be more in line (eg slightly worse engine, no ARH, etc.)
The Rafale is crazy. Nevermind the fact that MICAs have their own special seeker than makes it way harder to notch.

An earlier variant would have lacked the HMD and would have been limited to 6 MICAs, so…
The only difference with an earlier version of the EFT would have been less A2G and I think they only “skipped” to the later version was because Germany really needed something better for CAS.
The only “earlier” version you could have done that might have made a difference in ARB is maybe the early prototypes that had RB199s (Tornado F3 engines) instead of the EJ200s, but apparently it was still very good.
As for going forward. T1s would be limited in what upgrades could be recieved but T2s onward dont really have any restrictions. Many of the Typhoons Britain is upgrading to ECRSMk2 will basically be the Typhoon version we already have in game.

The version already in game had neither in French service. The 8x MICA come from the Indian CF3 and the HMD was only trialed in prep for the CF4.
Limiting loadouts has been something done for years to maintain balance in game and removal of HMD would help limit the HOBS ability. Something that nearly no other top tier jet has, including the Typhoon.

Where would we even draw the line for low tier coastal barring 1.0-1.7?
Coastal received some decent (in comparison to past coastal, not other branches) imo.
and? the MICA is one of if not the best ARH missile in the game
Do you guys remember the leak from last tear that said there would be a Polish tree with a bunch of central and eastern European nations? It also said South Korea would be a US sub tree, but they announced recently that united korea will be it’s own tree.
I wonder if the leak was wrong, or plans changed? The miscellaneous european tree would be cool.

Could’ve been better, as when it was added it was insane. Rafale/MICA has been buffed a few times but Eurofighter was slightly worse than the F-15E/I in BVR but way better in everything else. Now that they’re diff BRs it makes more sense but Eurofighter could still go to 14.7 comfortably. But I do understand Germany’s case as they lacked CAS. Swiss Line would’ve fixed that problem if it came earlier
Leaks are never 100% accurate and plans do change.
So it might have been a proposal that was leaked and not actual plans or something.

The issue with that tree is Romania is already an Italian subtree so unless subtree policy changes it’s a no go.
That and you could probably make like 3 maybe 4 trees with those countries so it would seem very odd to cram it into one, especially when you only get 5 lines for each branch.

The moment the F-15C MSIP II was added, it was a likely addition in the near future.
The moment the F-15E was added. it was innevetiable.
Typhoon had to come, as it was the only aircraft that Italy, Britain or Germany could get that realistically countered the F-15s.
I dont think the Typhoon in its currently nerfed state is that big of a deal, no worse than F-16s, Mig-29s, F-14s, Mig-23MLDs, etc etc were
The problem is the Rafale. They wont stop buffing it, even though it was always going to dominate thanks to having HOBS missiles on an able dogfighter

Yeah I agree, but we’re talking about when they were added. Eurofighter was far superior to all other Aircraft and as the Rafale. When it was 13.7 (or 14.0?) it was doing slightly worse than the F-15E in BVR but better in every other stat. Now the Eurofighter is okay, should still go up to 14.7 or 15.0 with decompression. Rafale has been a problem consistently since it was added. It should always sit above the Eurofighter and never next to it (unless they nerf it back to its Service state).
