I can say that I’m not crazy about the American 90mm, there’s something that makes me hate it
the rafale in game is from 2018 or 2019 , EFT in game is also from mid 2015s. US is stuck with jets from early 90s/00s. russia is stuck with jets from early 00s. sweden mid 00s.
sure, I’d be fine with that
without HMD limited to AiM-120C1 and AiM-9M
would be a good 14.0 sidegrade to the F-15E
EFT in game is a Fake version that sais it’s from 2010
the problem with Russian vehicles is they now need 2026 Sus to be competitive
and the US? well gaijin seemingly is scared of the jump to Reduced Radar/IR Signature planes in TT and the alternatives are another F-15/16/18 none of which can compete with a Eurofighter in both Agility and Speed
120C-5 was a thing in the early 2000s
And hows it fake?
Yes and no…
Whilst strictly speaking the Typhoon didnt equip Brimstones until 2018, They were Brimstone 2s and not the Current Brimstone 1s. If we go by the rest of the loadout, its more like from 2008 at the very latest (may be a little later due to the twin bomb carriers), though there are many aspects not even up to the standard of the 1990s prototypes yet.
it has features ours don’t and carries weapons it shouldn’t like Brimstone I
so was IRIS -T
are we now getting that for F4F LV and the typhoon? no
just add SU-35 from 2014 they will be good. pretty sure brimstone2/paveways were mid 2010s mod for the EFT.
u dont even know what u are talking about lmao.
Not equivalent. F-4F ICE is already ingame the way they want it to be and IRIS-T is a next gen IR missile, those aren’t coming for some time. 120C-5 on the other hand is already ingame on many aircraft
Brimstone 2s are 2018.
We dont have Brimstone 2s
Paveways IVs first entered service and were first fitted to Harrier GR9s in 2008 and was fitted onto the Typhoon between 2008 and 2010 when it switched from F2 to FGR4 standard. Was first used by the Typhoon in 2011 though.
Though ignoring A2G loadout in a discussion of service to entry in an A2A context… The Typhoons are 2006 ish standard I think. With the Aim-120C5s. but Stirker 1 entered service in 2009. So id say we have a Typhoon from 2009
To clarify, the Typhoons are from the 2010s.
Please use the existing Typhoon topics for further discussion on the subject. Its not relevant here: Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2) - #2947 by dotSHINI
Looking forward to getting the 2010s kit then. Like Brimstone 2s.
We do not have Brimstone 2 in game currently. But Brimstone is compatable with Typhoon and integrated in 2017.
Why we speedrun jets?
its the opposite. we have much more advanced jets in NATO TTs (except sweden , america) when compared to russia.
Backwards compatible, maybe.
But Brimstone 2s would be the more accurate addition.
Though that is largely irrevelant.
If we are going to be artificially limited to SAL (with no FnF option beyond GPS) . Then the bare minimum is that we should get is Brimstone 2s. As it stands Brimstone 1 cannot compete against even AGM-65, let alone KH-38MTs and AASMs.
Brimstones 2 should have been added 10 months ago at the very latest. If not with the Tornado GR4 a year ago
Actually, brimstones are really viable against new AAs because they aren’t heavy and can turn very fast at close ranges. So you just spam them before flying out the terrain and destroy AA and then dive again.
should have asked that 10 months ago with the addition of rafale. even the EFT was added with a mechanical radar. they could have added rafale with a pesa radar but nah skipped straight to aesa variant. its soo good to the point where newer rafales have little to offer over the current rafale in game. (the one in game can also use meteors irl).
