Actually… A pylon there is perfectly accurate for the IDS and is not an ADV thing for a sidewinder

Its just that only the RAF ever fitted a missile there in the form of ALARM. The model was probably made with that addition in mind and they are all just C&Ps of each other with specific tweaks like the different internal fuel groups. But that original model just includes the extra shoulder pylons from the GR1/GR4
I know that it’s supposed to look like, I’m just saying that a part of the radar being optional by loadout isn’t technically possible right now

the MFRL is a Rail that holds a bunch of diffrent missiles, we have them for our Eurofighters
it doesn’t allow the aircraft to fire or even recognise them, it’s literally just a Rail wirh nothing else in it that attaches to any pylon with NATO Bomb locks, the pylon and the aircraft avionics itself still need to be able to function with the missile you put on it
it’s very nice for us because it replaced Dedicated Sidewinder and AMRAAM Pylons in our service, however it being on a pylon doesn’t mean the Missile works with it
you could put an MFRL with a METEOR on a Starfighter and it could even fly with it, but since the Plane cannor communicate or even power that missile it couldn’t use it

Its effeciency is way lower than it should be, and you spend your days dropping the same 5x Mk13s on everything like you do in the GR1. But between the better engines, the Aim-9s that soemtimes work and the unlimited CMs… Its not too bad. And unlike at 11.7, far fewer base bombers in a 12.3-13.3 match
with the BRs going up wonder if it would be worth it for grb

Youd have to run a specific 12.3 lineup for it and you’d miss out on the main advantage of the decompression. Youd just face 13.0s in a mostly 11.7 lineup.
Im just sticking 11.7 with the GR1. If we could get the GR4 down to 12.0 or even 11.7 it would be awesome, but at 12.3… Nah, it doesnt really stand a chance against the 12.7 SAMs or 13.0 CAP
remains to be seen , nothing yet found , but id bet that if it doesn’t come this update it’s 100% coming next update
with ALARM it might have a chance against Buk
admittedly it’d probably still have problems wirh ASTER and SLM

Yeah, The ability to run 2-4 of those without impacting the loadout much is awesome, though the main upgrade that would be needed is Brimstones. Without those, its main weapon is just PW4s or PGMs and you might as well just run 11.7 in the GR1 for those.
why Brimstones? just sit at the corner of the map and Harass SAMs the entire match
Well, if you are just running ALARM and doing that, again, might as well run GR1 at 11.7 and do that against the lower BR stuff. Sure, the top tier stuff would be more heavily affected by 9x ALARM being fired from 40km away, but im not sure that would be enough to get me to run the 12.7 CR2s at the moment
16 missiles on double racks, EPAWSS with 120 bonus internal countermesures and BOL containers. And i will have no problem if they give F-15C GE 14.7 BR cause of 16 missiles, good plane on higher BR is better than frankenplane on an inflated BR.
Well, does SLE Include an Update to ASSTA 3.1?
Honestly BOL launchers at the very least, people have also mentioned a MAWS which would also be super welcome if they want to keep the F-15C GE at 14.3.
Those are the main things but I’m still conflicted about the quad racks. Some people have mentioned the IRST pod but I don’t use IRST enough to really care about it.
