Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

im with renzo they arent that mobile compared to dedicated light tanks… hell some british mbts are more mobile then them

Chile has far more vehicles than Greece, and would make up half of a South American tech tree.
Greece is a better option as it offers less vehicle volume to the game while having connections to Israel as well.

South America deserves to be a tech tree, and Chile is the only way it becomes one due to Argentina being in Germany.
Brazil needs at least 1 of the major partners: Argentina or Chile.
Israel doesn’t need Chile, it doesn’t even need a sub-tree. Greece will offer light additions likely late next year to augment already good lineups for Israel.

it doesnt need a subtree, correct, but you think gaijin cares?
they are lazy, they will be adding leopards to every country and not actual non copy pasted tanks.

they arent…? smin confirmed over a year ago now that Argentina isnt a sub of Germany they just have the TAMs as the Germans helped build them

There are currently zero copy-paste Leopard 2s in the game.
All the copy-paste Leopard 2s currently in-game are at BR 10.7.
And Greece’s only copy-paste Leopards would be 10.7, and maybe 9.3.

Israel’s tech tree is already majority unique vehicles, and that trend won’t change just because it gets a copy-paste Leopard 2A4 for a lineup it can’t use unless you’re bringing Merkava Mk2D and Sabra Mk1 with you, and a Leopard 1A5 which is an option among already among the strongest 9.3 lineups in the game.

@Smugspite
No one said Argentina was a sub-tree.

@_Renzo
Lower number better [it’s in seconds].
M113 TOW:
0 - 30: 4
40: 7
50: 15
Reverse max: 2
Traverse: 8

M24 Chaffee:
0 - 30: 6
40: 12
50: 20
Reverse max: 3
Traverse: 9

The M113 is notably more mobile than the M24 Chaffee. And the M24 HVMS was given a weaker engine than the Chaffee has in-game if the suggestion I support is correct on its power output.
So the Chilean HMVS could be even far more slower than the M113 HMVS Israel could get.

no you just said

implying Argentina couldnt be added to a South American tree because the Argentina has 2 whole tanks in the german tech tree

barely 60% i would say. which is nothing.
should have been much more.

I don’t want to remove access to Argentine vehicles from the German tech tree when they supply valuable tools for people, especially those that haven’t gotten them yet.
TAM-2C is a valuable tank for the 10.x lineups.

That and I want Chile-Brazil to be my 11th, 12th, or 13th tech tree I grind depending if Poland is next or South America’s next.

That and I didn’t like the claim M24 HMVS would be more mobile than a lighter chassis’d vehicle. ~5 - 6 tons lighter.

germany has plenty of tank options and already has Swiss with a good chance of Austria, if a South American tree is added will probably contain Argentina

Agreed with plenty options. Gaijin always talk about it’s plenty, but where is it as always?

I know how it’s painful. There amount of suggestions is incredible in both ground suggestions polls, but we see mostly really useless things

yeah don’t get me wrong I’m happy to see the Chieftain 900 I just wish we would get one of like 5 possible light tanks above 10.7 for the UK

I have a boat this update only. :(

I wish it someday appears

Having austrian vehicles would be nice (having all german speaking nations together) but the reality is one austrian vehicle is in the swedish tree and one is in the french tree. There is no indication that austria will be added to germany especially after they did the swap witht the sk105

I want the context of this

It’s a US jet painted in foreign colors for marketing. It made a whole circuit of Europe advertising for buyers.

It’s not a French jet in the slightest.
