Personally, I’d like them to fully release the fourth generation plus before releasing the fifth generation.
If the AMRAAM had been more competitive, I would have welcomed the Golden Eagle.
If we were to follow the term “gap” that Gaijin has taken to using lately, then an F-15ERMP equipped with SLAMER would have been the logical choice.

The Boxer and Patria have both had firing/export trials [1], so is more like asking for the VFM.5 or Mk.7.
The Ajax Blackjax is just a standard Ajax with higher elevation and a APS. [2] So there’s not actually anything “new persay”
The only really iffy one is the Ajax IFV as I haven’t heard anything about the turret being tested, but the hull (allegedly) is just an ARES (APC Ajax variant) hull extended a bit.

The Boxer one would be better imo, it’s the closest we’ll get to a Boxer in the UK as we don’t operate any armed ones, a good stand-in
F-15EX is a jump above the current top end.
F-15EX should come with other equivalent aircraft such as Su-30SM2, etc.
they are fully functional so they arent concepts and demonstrators has never been an issue literally the challenger 3 tech demonstrator or the last time i checked the 2s38 isnt in service either, there is no reason to deny the UK an equal to the jaguar when we have options

Its performance is constantly being updated to the highest level. When the Su-30SM was deployed, the American counterpart was the F-15E, which lacked AESA.
To avoid creating a “gap,” aircraft of the same level should have been implemented simultaneously. But reality proved foolish.
F-15C Golden Eagle brings the flight performance of the F-15C, which is already above that of Su-30SM currently, and adds in new avionics.

Balanced by the missile count and ability to rip the nose around for a launch with it’s missiles that are very well suited for that exact situation

You gotta be kidding me? Dodging all the AMRAAMs with multipath and then getting into close-range combat? In a dogfight, the Su-30 completely outclasses the F-15E.

If it had been a real battlefield with no multi-paths, where we repeatedly cycled between HOT and COLD, I could have agreed with your opinion.
I said the C, not the E.
The E is heavier by ~3 tons due to more fuel required to run the thirstier engines, and the significantly higher empty mass.
Also real life has multipathing and terrain following. High altitude launches reduce multipath effectiveness, especially against non-maneuvering targets.
So 70% fuel on the F-15E is 5 tons heavier than 65% on the C?
If the Su-30 and F-15E had equal competitiveness, Gaijin would have placed them in the same BR bracket. I’m just curious to see how well the Golden Eagle, with its upgraded radar but reduced airframe performance compared to the E variant, will hold its own.
If I’m being honest I kind of prefer the C FM. Now ofc, maybes it’s because I don’t have many mods for the E, but it feels nicer for defensive flying and a more aggressive playstyle
