GNSS with a max of 18 which would be op if the GBU-39 wasnt in game with a max of 20 and 6 mavs
If I’m not mistaken, missiles still can’t lock targets beyond 20km (other than the ground) so range above that is largely academic.
It means nothing when tanks dont render past 20 km and it will only lock ground on that distance aswell. Kh-38s also have 70 km launch range ig but wont lock anything other than ground until 16 km.

well yes but they can be fired from the airfield and have enough range to hit without the aircraft being in any danger of SPAA. Just should not be a thing, stop adding these things and focus on making the game fun. Remove CAS from the game
300kg warhead and GNSS point it at spawn easy

Thats not true. The current airfields are within range of current SPAA. You take off and the SPAA can fire at you. They are 10-15 km max from battlefield,depending on map.
There were 3 options I would have preferred to the Super Hornet (assuming we’re not getting the F-15EX either yet):
- F-15E RMP
- F-15C Late (in this case, the Golden Eagle)
- F-16C PoBIT
Any of these would be preferable to the Super Hornet because they can actually break M1.4. For a bit it was looking like Gaijin was going to add the Super Hornet and claim the US is doing fine because they now have an (extremely mid) AESA carrier.
But with the Golden Eagle, it can at least contend with the Eurofighters and Rafale now. The Super Hornet would have been a worse Su-30SM lol

whats also funny is when my black knight shoots down a kh-38 the massive war head still takes out everything on the tank.

Even there though, with a decently sized warhead, the ability to spam them cross map is notable.
Its why Grom-1s never made it to live and the KH-59s pale in comparison (longer range, bigger warhead (I think) and potentially more than just GNSS)
Given most nations dont even have anything that can compete with KH-38, they are the last nation that should get anything, let alone something that would break ARB/ASB with absolute totallity.

yes within range, but usually behind a mountain or terrain where you can quick peak over, fire 6 magical non-existant kh-38’s and land again. How is this FUN???
the only current SPAA that can actually hit a target on the ground is IR so only really the IRIST SLM can all ARH missile completely fail to hit targets below 60m

If only,most maps you see directly to the airfield direction.
Even in ASB with 130x130 maps.
Grom-1 wasnt added in the end because of exploitation. Spear-3 couldnt be used in the same regard due to tiny warhead.
KH-59 would be worse than Grom-1 in terms of that exploitation

I think it’s still going to get farmed by the Rafale if it gets too close, but it should at least be able to contend with the EFT in BVR.
Before it felt like the EFT was just better at BVR than the F-15E because of the flight performance. EFT will still have the flight performance advantage, but the F-15C GE at least has an advantage as well.
