I don’t understand though, the Ar 196 was Germany’s primary float plane fighter of the war but it’s only obtainable via Sweden? Where’s the logic in that?

Hmmm… Same goes for Japan… which are still lacking its most produced bombers and strike aircraft of WWII… After around 9 years of being added in 2016.
Don’t think these will ever come, seeing the amount of WWII TT additions for Japan in the last 5 years.

The problem is with the ar196 is that sweden doesnt even have a navy and cant even use them in their intended role while germany has no float plane which isnt locked behind premium or event

What else would Italy even get at top tier air? Is’t that mostly the unique stuff that they use?
I know they have some unique subsonic attackers/trainers, but saying these would be top tier is an unbelievable stretch.
I meant the NF MK2 but yeah the TR.33 is also different having the MK. XV Torpedo (Still one of the best airdropped torpedoes in the game glad to see it on something other then the Wyvern or the Firebrand and Firecrest)
I think he means a float plane fighter, of which there is none in the tech tree. There is the He 51 B-2/H but that’s a market vehicle, and the Ar 193 A-3 which is no longer obtainable. This is a gap which would be perfectly filled by the Ar 193 A-5 but it’s completely absent. Over 500 were built, so why can’t we have one in the tech tree? It makes no sense.

A bomber isnt really comparible to a small float plane. BTW it isnt just float planes but torpedo planes aswell. Last one was added as a premium (the fw190). The only option germany has is the he111 and do217. Heavy bombrs aswell and the do217 are even missing 2 torpedo options

Well yeah… If they made Battle of midway and iwo jima more prevalant, you would have an actual use for these naval aircraft.
But the only maps in rotation are Russian maps, like naro-fominsk, mozdok, stalingrad, moscow serphukov and smolensk.
With some luck i get spain, hurtgen, ruhr or zhengzhou, but these are pretty rare in my experience.

I miss a couple of years ago when you could get midway or Malta and actually use naval aircraft, still remember having a ton of fun in the A7M1

I only get the map with the big capture point and nothing in between. Naval maps are not great in general. Maybe with subs they get better

Its never been said Germany cant get other variants in the future. You asked if one was coming, the answer to that as ive already said is not in the current immediate plans. Which is what this topic is about.
Some WW2 vehicles have seen a decrease in player numbers due to nerfs or increased BR.How can we get developers to reconsider them :)

Yeah, you also have titles based on these pacific maps, but in my 10 years of playing this game and grinding Japan, GB and the US, i have only gotten the map around 14 times:

eh I highly doubt it, it will be a Class that A. is unfun to fight against and play. B. is useless and unfun to play or C. have a terrible spawn where even if you spend the entire time going full speed never make it to a point (almost all ww2 subs were slower underwater then even slower ww1 dreadnaughts)

Some of the most important prototypes of the Japanese aviation history haven’t been added yet. Same goes for some of the most produced strike and bomber aircraft.
That’s just Corporate Speech. It is basically denied by this point after 5 years or so or should we wait another 5 - 10 years?
