@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to ping but I have a rather important question, is the absence of certain air-to-air modes from a radar on a “recently” added aircraft considered something important for the game or can we just overlook it ?
I’m asking this because the Super Etendard (which was only added 2 years ago after all) still hasn’t received its air-to-air radar modes (although this was reported 2 years ago)
I filed another bug report (not very good by the way I admit, I just took the different sources used in the 3 or 4 existing bug reports which talk about the same problem) about this issue and was told it’s already known. AND I REALLY HOPE it’s already known, but I also really hope something has been done in the last two years.
So I know you’re very busy and that some choices are made based on the importance of the vehicles, but two years to model a TWS mode and a search mode seems more than enough, and I think it’s time you updated the aircraft’s radar (with so much time since the bug report, it’s even going to be the best-modeled radar in the game, I think).
I just really want some quality of life for planes like a modifier key so when flying with keyboard, instead of pulling 100% all the time, I could press down another key too and pull say 50% or 60% to help retain energy since tapping to slow your turn burns a lot of energy
That’s why next time I’m getting a keyboard I’ll look into analog switches. If I understand correctly it allows you to map key press as an axis where input strength is tied to depth.
Cant wait for whatever late additions they are working on to be completely botched and have no time to bug report before the live server so that they are in a perpetual state of DOA lol
is it possible you can make a suggestion for the agm 142 popeye for israel?, ur good with suggestions .its realitically the only way the devs add unique stuff to israel atp.(would make it much more enjoyable to play kurnass,f15I raam)
Its not something to be “overlooked”, but the current priority of reports for the devs is the incoming ones from the dev server and new vehicles. As the team are focused on working on the next major update and its content.
Of course the current update aircraft are more important, but has anything been done over the last two years to add air-to-air modes to the Super Etendard radar? It’s still crazy to have “forgotten” such an important element.
I’ll be polite, but I have to admit that this is frustrating, frankly.
It just feels like the bug reporting platform is useless. We find problems in the game and source to fix them, but it doesn’t lead to anything. Two years for the end result to be “well, we forgot about it, so we’ll figure it out later.”
The number of bug reports that have been around for years but have not been fixed is disheartening, it really shows a lack of attention to detail on your part (By “you” I obviously don’t want to point the finger at you directly, but at all the teams working on the game.)
Amber racks should be added, wether amber racks gets adopted or not is unknown but what is known is the f15 golden eagle was abandoned and f15c is essentially retired might as well add it.
All it needs for 14.3 is fixed aim120c5. Like there is no way gaining sees people asking for aim120a because aim120c5 is crap and doesn’t see it’s a problem
@Smin1080p_WT I want to say thank you to whomever thought this new QoL update up, I can now change the tree to the British Empire and thus the Commonwealth nations make sense now.
