It’s going to be worse in the flight performance envelope unfortunately. It’s an F18 brought up to F15 size without F15 engine power …
I would not be surprised if with a full missile load the Super hornet would be slow enough on the deck that Harriers would be able to keep up if not exceed it… Not exactly the definition of speed unfortunately.

pretty sure f414 is better than f404 and the E/F has AESA radar but idk what they really do so cant say alot

i wont be surprised if they magically make it better than f18c. i wont be surprised after what they did with the F2 , it has a higher instantaneous turn rate than the f18 , but it also outrates the F16 at the same time.

F/A-18E is also a lot heavier than C so it doesn’t change a lot
