They could go with a TT F-2 ADTW Late with AAM-5 (since these are the only F-2s with them at this point) and AAM-4B.

Gripen NG with Aim-120s + Aim-9Ms (until IRIS-Ts) and then the Gripen E with Meteors and IRIS-T is probably the better way to do it.

Mega engine? It wouldn’t change it that much, TWR is 1.22 the Gripen E weighs a lot more but the engine barely does a bit better than the C so at least its not Super hornet syndrome

Will be even better when those CMs are at full strength too. Large, short burn flares and standard calibre chaff (if modeled 100% correctly, would actually be slightly stronger than regular chaff as well)
