Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

My personal opinion is no more valid as anyone else’s as a player. People are not here for my opinion or interested in that. So I prefer to stick to just providing the facts and details from the team, as thats what people are here for.

If I list a vehicle I would like to see on a personal level and it turns up, someone will start the conspiracy that I somehow choose or influence vehicles. Just look at that poor developer that once expressed they enjoyed playing Sweden in game and how much that got taken out of context.

Hi smin, do you know if there is a limit to vehicle folder sizes or are they limitless? i’d kinda like to see huge folders with all the variants of certain vehicles, first ones that come to mind are the T-62, T-64, T-72, T-72B and T-80 that each could have ten or more variants

Hey. Folders are limited at 3-4 vehicles at most and all around the same BR.

A whole tank series (Like one of the T series you mentioned) could not go into the same folder. Many are across different ranks or BRs.

i think he meant a folder with all variants of a single vehicle instead of the whole T-series in a single folder

that ^

and it can still work, there are enough variants for them to be at the same-ish br

Ah fair enough, imo bit of a shame y’all have to think about things like that. Thank you for the reply!

(Oh and have a good evening)

Yes, that’s what I was referring too also. For example all T-72 variants cannot go into a single folder. They start at 9.3 and go all the way to 12.0.

Would there be any possibility to see the limit increase in the future? That and would the limit be higher for event vehicles like the German SM.79s?

So my dreams of the world greatest chally folder stack are for nought?

i meant having folders of equal-ish br variants mostly, think T-72A, with the T-72 Ural, the T-72A with the late turret found on the 72B, T-72M1, same with the 72B getting the T-72BA and more, also the T-80B and so on

also when T-64A 1972? i need that 12.7mm

I’m imagining a Thai engineer digging up a T-80 (ww2) grave with a modernisation blueprint in hand

Its unlikely for standard tree researchable vehicles. It exists just for some of the removed vehicles to save space currently.

Modern SPAAs? Like the Tan-SAM Kai? 😂

I am slighly late to the party, but what about fire control radars used to target other ships, will these be implemented? Some of them are already, but they act as anti air track radars, with no ability to be used against surface targets.

Hi Smin, since you mentioned the SAM, I would like to ask about one report related to Chaparral. Since the “Seek & Destroy” update his MIM-72E missile lost its smokeless engine, despite the fact that it is exactly the same as that of the AIM-9M. It’s already past more than a year since the report was created by players, but we still have not received a response to this nerf.
MIM-72E, MIM-72G, lost smokeless motor // Gaijin.net // Issues Community Bug Reporting System
At the moment, the MIM-72C and MIM-72E are identical to each other, and its presence in modifications simply does not make sense. Do you have any information regarding this report?

That would fun. Or even just getting more modern FCS modeled would also be a start. post-WW1 dreadnoughts and post WW2 battelships having the same FCS is just wierd
