i thought j20 has tvc , if its little benifit to modern combat then wouldnt make sence to apply it on a 5th gen platform
J-20 does not have TVC
Only TVC aircraft flown by PLAAF would be the SU-35S and J-10B TVC prototype
I slightly misremembered. You can choose how many reloads per type you want to have (0-2), not mixed per reload. You can switch between the types without firing, but that will start a reload. They could implement it differently for MICA VL, given that other new Multi-vehicle sams cant reload without ammo-boxes to begin with

How heavy is j16? If it has a empty ttw of 1.6 that’s better than su-35, which is around 1.5, as it’s 19 tons
It is quite difficult to balance the S-350, because on one side the range is up to 120 km, and on the other side there are 48 missiles at 15 km.
My calculation used 17700kg and 142kn × 2 for the WS-10B

It’s calculate based of of the normal landing weight of the J-16 according to Chinese standards
