With no MBTs or IFVs for top tier, a Rapier multi-vehicle would be fun for the 10.3/10.7 line up
samp/t has much more range than buk m3
they wont add j-16 before su35. they will probably add them at the same time.
buk m3 uses fox 3 missiles. there is a launcher than can carry 12 missiles in a single vehicle or another with a radar + 6 missiles , they can add 1 radar + 2x launchers (24 missiles) totally or can go with 2x launcher with smaller radar (12 missiles totally). compared to 8 missiles per launcher in samp/t. (16 totally).

It cant guide the missiles with search radar, it would need either the launchers with radar, or the big radar to guide them. So 24 missiles in 1+2 config is not possible.

I don’t fully agree here.
The SU-35 is a bit lighter has more missiles better CAS capability, TVC, higher TWR, and a banger radar.
In terms of WT it’s should be a bit better unfortunately.
And since China can also get the SU-35S i dont think we’d get the J-16 and SU-35 in the same update.
But alas currently the J-16 would compete with the best in the game right now in BVR but it would loose in WVR and medium range.
We’ll get the J-10C and they’ll add the J-16 when its no longer a competitor for top dog.

i think this is the missile used on buk m3 , but this is the variant used on ships.
its much faster than the slm.
That was my point. OP mentioned a missile with as much range as ASTER for Russia and much smaller range missiles for Italy and France than BUK3
Average speed of around Mach3, looks like it’s a relatively slow accelerating missile as I thought
The one thing the soviets dont need and shoudlnt be getting anytime soon is better CAS capabilities
