Clearly not understanding my point. Could we begin to use logic here or this thread comes with that turned off? He did mention Aster, which is indeed what the SAMP/T uses. He HOWEVER did not mention WHEN and or HOW these will be implemented, not even if these WILL or WILL NOT be implemented.

Mentioning doesn’t equal to confirming.

Saying that BVVD confirmed SAMP/T to come is false. He mentioned possibilities. You guys should know how plans might change.

(and please… I do know the ASTER is the SAMP/T missile… ASTER 30 to be specific… bruh)

Honestly I’ve gotten a lot of success in the legacy Hornet, as long as I don’t rush head first into missile spam it’s good.

ASTER and BUK 3 are not confirmed. They were discussed as a possible addition 3 months ago. Especially for the ASTER, since BVVD seemed to struggle with the name of the system, it might be that they didn’t know ASTER 15 was naval specific, and that was shared to the devs after I was told.

That’s why everything is always subject to change (and that CC for example alway, always mention that during dev seasons for example)

he was asked if othe nations will also get new SAMs and his awnser was that russia will get the Buk M3
and that Italy and France will get something that fires the ASTER

it was also confirmed that the nations that didnt recive a new SAM will do so in the next update in the CM disclosure

It was considered, meaning that other platform are also likely to come if it’s found that ASTER 30 and BUK3 or either don’t fit the game. For example, France has the choice of MICA, or through subtrees to other systems. Italy as well has shorter range missiles both internally and through subtrees (like CAMM iirc)

Him mentioning Aster came a while ago. The CM covert could be hinting at Grifo for Italy (our CAMM-ER/Skyguard) and you wouldn’t know it. Nothing is confirmed. Only that the nations that didn’t get SAMs will be getting them. Logic.

Yeah guys it’s important to remember that an off-hand comment like this is not an official confirmation that something is coming in the next update. I put it in the rumor section of my post for a reason.

he directly said that they are working on the Buk M3 and a large multi vehicle complex that uses the ASTER after being asked what the other nations will recive
