Man, in terms of WT many later 4+gen upgrades seem like such sidegrade/downgrades for the game, Same missiles but fatter and slower usually for a better radar

Yeah. Some people tend to forget that real life isn’t as poorly designed as War Thunder, hence why otherwise good or even excellent vehicles end up as abysmal dogsh- really bad :)

Too be fair, warthunder also doesn’t factor in reliability so technically the planes are better in warthunder than in real life.

Honestly at this point a new tech tree, either koreas, yugoslavia, or PL+CZSK would be INSANELY refreshing.
