Lmao
What I said is true though
no but they showed of the 15EX and its variants in airshows
it wasnt too impressive but looked atleast better than the boat that the F-15E is
F-15QA (and 15EX variant):
F-15E:
Ight, the man, the myth, the legend, will any new 14.0+ jets be a good dogfighter for usa
same goes for the F-15C over the F-15A
they sacrificed WVR performance for BVR performance
the copium is strong with this one
… should i go get the copium reserves?
the Airitalia guy wasn’t wrong either when he sold Starfighters to the turks
Please man I need some hopium
if you dont expect anything you cant be disappointed
I expect it to be able to take off
expect none and be happy when you get anything
exactly
QA is the direct predecessor, the only difference is EPAWSS
There is also some video out there with F-15C pilots that switched to EX and the way they talked about it makes me think it has roughly F-15C FM with the GE-129 engines
When ge132 in 15ex…
yeah i think it is not to far fetched to say that the F-15a might still be a better dogfighter than the EX
The F-22 would be a solid option, but it lacks in missiles to back it up assuming 9M, and it doesn’t get HMD until the latest versions
I’m fine with no hmd, I had to suffer the grind with no hmd
In game it probably will. And thats without VMAX switch…
Tbh same goed for flankers for example
You’ll be feeling it against MICA/R-73/R-77
that is true, iam still waiting for gaijin to fix the flight model
(reducing high speed STR and increasing lift)
the F-15EX is not only a completely new aircraft, but also many other upgrades over the current Cs and Es, for example, the extra wing hardpoints boosting the max missile load from 8 to speculated 20-22, better RWR, and situational awareness granted by the EPAWS (eagle passive awareness and warning system) effectively giving it 360 degree RWR and MAW as well as its directional jammers (i could go on, this is my tism) but these will slowly replace all the Cs and Es, i mean, if you’ve seen a modern F-15C cockpit they’ve been upograded so much that its common just to see random wires kinda just hanging or ziptied to something due to running out of space as shown in this image, it is not at all a showing of poor managemnt its just showing how much one cockpit can change and what is needed to change it to bring it up to modern standards from entering service between 1976-1979
