Honestly, i think the chinese players need to man up. The VT-4 is explicitly an export vehicle, and it was sold to a nation which still has good ties to Japan. Thailand is also a subtree for Japan so its going to happen bo matter what at some point

Is it possible that some of the modern warfare tech that should come before 5th comes this update, if so, what do you guys would be most interested in ?

Well the sentence was in context of 4th gens being added before 5th gens coming, so more like air to air stuff
Jamming and sensor fusion, I know they can’t do all of sensor fusion in this patch, so I’d be happy with just some of it modeled.

I hope they mean ECM stuff and better sensor fusion with this.
Also modelling AESA’s better to better resist jamming will be needed.
What specifically do you see coming the fastest, and how would that impact gameplay ? Which aircraft’s would be concerned ?
F-16 blocks 60 and 70, Superhornets, F-14D, Mig-35, J-10C, J-15, J-16, Gripen NG…
Electronic warfare would be nice as well

Most likely better sensor fusion, even the current countermeasure sensor fusion is broken and needs to be enhanced.

Now this is Big news and i hope this will open the Door for Helicopter Scouting.
With this the OH-1 could be perfectly introduced as a SQV for the Japanese Helicopter Tree.
While no weaponry against tanks exist it can go after enemy Helis and Planes and provide scouting for the Friendlys on the ground and it will be not OP due to longer cooldowns.
(Yes i really like the OH-1 and i want it badly, also more Historical Anime Camos :3 )

Yep, and if they do bring jammers to some of the aircrafts we have, radars will need an overhaul too, since not all radar types behave the same to jamming.
For examples the AESA’s we already have.
I see radar/IRST working at the same time coming first, rather than having to transition between one or the other.
It would impact Sukhois, Rafale and Eurofighter.
Would make it harder for those aircrafts to be notched or flared since the radar and IRST should feed data to each other.

I mean there’s several variants of the T-84, Kevlar E, Btr-3 (which has several variants), Donets, AB-13, Rokach, Btr-4, Barrier-S, Bmpt-Strazh, Ottoman 3, Azovets, BMT-72, BMP-64, MT-LB-12 and BTR-94, not including any modded T-series tanks or the upgraded Leopard 1A5, 2A4 and 2A6.
To claim Ukraine has only one unique vehicle is a tad bit disingenuous.

±105* iirc , captor E on the eft has an azimuth coverage of ±110* and no35 ibris on the su35 has an azimuth coverage of ± 120*.
I really hope we get IRST pods if they do rework how radars and IRSTs interact. Cause multiple countries do have IRST pods, or more generally things like the sniper being able to function as one.
