Personally I believe Subtrees should offer some variety with an UA tree you wouldn’t get anything new except for the T-84, and at this point you might aswell add it as event vehicle

Gaijin could have sent it to Britain or France simply because Nigeria purchased VT4, but they chose an option that is most likely to cause controversy.

BeNeLux is in the French TT, we have fought more against the French than China against Japan.
Yet, you don’t hear us talk about controversy, just that Benelux could have easily be its own TT.
The Netherlands has destroyed the British navy multiple times, not losing a war against the British, yet BeNeLux has British vehicles and you don’t hear the British complain.

Love that change for naval, won’t have to awkwardly toggle that option anymore! Also curious to see what battlecruiser germany is getting next event. Though I personally can’t wait for some more unique cruisers. (I would kill for Oyodo)

To be fair Thailand is an official subtree nation in game, and they operate VT-4.
But yeah the timing is unfortunate. I hope Gaijin delay it and give an Indonesian Leopard 2A4 premium instead. It’s a quick and easy fix for Gaijin, promises exciting future Indonesian vehicles and works around the issue at the same time. Everyone wins.

Already have that one, but I’m almost certain it has to be another WW1 one. Aren’t we still missing some famous ones? Mackensen or the like? (I’m not that up to date with the german dreadnoughts)

First, Japan may have a better choice than vt4. Second, September is a very important day for Chinese people, especially the history with Japan,
