All other language settings should have the modern flag too. There is no good reason to use the rising sun for the techtree. It should only be used for the navy

I don’t think individuals understand how detrimental that tree would be for the nations involved, they’d have only a handful of vehicles for nations that could easily have 180 vehicles.
The idea of independent tech tree or a multinational tech tree is a very nice idea in my opinion but again all this is made around political opinion. At my perspective of view Ukraine being initially implemented to USSR is the shortest path to take, it won’t be locked behind more soviet vehicles which is found in soviet tech tree copied and pasted in another tech tree.
What I mean is: the concept for Ukrainian tech tree made by the community is awesome not considering the bad reasons behind it (politics) but the way it can be executed is terrible: Gaijin will just copy and paste great majority of soviet vehicles and add a few at mid to high tiers, this is China tech tree in a nutshell. Where most of the good content is locked at high tiers.
The only reason I don’t see any other nation to USSR other than Czech and Russia is the amount of vehicles already, that’s why we probably won’t see any full sub-tech tree for United States, Germany or Soviet Union due to the huge amount of available vehicles with little to no gaps to be filled with new vehicles from nations not implemented.

EDIT: it just came to my attention that the drama being sparked here comes from the notion of a Thailandese VT-4 being added to Japan because it’s a “Chinese tank”…
In that field, I won’t debate whether it’s reasonable to get mad at that or not, but it appears it won’t be happening anyway;
