Its a QoL thing more than a balance thing.
Tornado Gr4 with or without HMS wouldnt necessarily be at any different of a BR,
But give the Mirage 2KD HMD and it increases in BR
Maybe, but still not to the same degree as R-73 or Magic II.
But im all for HMD for the F-2, but so far, nothing to use to chamption it getting that buff.
Though AESA radar is a small concellation prize.

AFAIK the US doesn’t have Harpoon and France doesn’t have Exocet.
Its very fun in the 10.7 lineup. Thats always my go too for some ground fun.

Given that up until a few months ago, TV guided missiles straight up missed naval targets and it wasnt usable in that capacity and even now they tend to miss or just nose dive into the water. They arent all that reliable in that regard.
Need to work on a report for them actually at somepoint. As they dont really work against naval targets.
But there is a big differene between flying within 10km of a naval target in ASB, and manually firing 3x TV guided weapons and flying a Tonka, using a radar to lock onto a ship and then firing 4x Sea Eagles from much further away at targets.
Though, it seems the devs are removing naval targets from ASB, which is a real shame.

They are usable in ASB, up until they completely remove naval targets at least. which they seem to be doing, theyve removed the Carriers.
Yes, other nations are missing ASMs as well. Its such an easy addition to add something interesting to aircraft that doesnt affect ground. Its a win win, but they just… wont do it.

we go from germany having to content with the F-4F ICE while both britain and italy got the gripen to stay competetive, the mig-29 having a butchered flight model after gaijin gave it a missile it shouldnt have and not giving it the missile it should have
then there is china with copy paste placeholder radars in their jets.
There is also Japan whos players have been asking for the F-2 for years at this point and what did they get, a copy pasted F-16 because the F-2 would have been to OP and now they added it and it is soo good that it isnt even 14.0
