Ukraine is not a part of the Russian TT.
The oplot was designed in 2001, Ukraine became independent in 1991.
There is no need for the oplot to go to Russia, because that tank wasnt designed in the era when Ukraine was in the USSR.
So there is no valid reason for the Russian mains to complain about the Oplot going to the USSR TT.
Especially since Ukraine isnt a part of the TT currently.
Thailand operates them, so it would only make sence to put it into the Japanese TT.

Only because the majority of the vehicles are USSR, same why Japan still has the imperial flag because most of it’s tech is from that era. It’s also why Germany still has it’s WW2 flag and not it’s modern republic

The rising sun flag was never the national flag of Japan. Imperial Japan used a similar flag to the modern one, only with a different shade of red.
