Most F-35 operators bought it for diplomatic reasons, not because it was the most suited aircraft for their needs… In fact a eurocanard would’ve been more suitable for the needs of most F-35 operators

There are downsides too.
Improved survivability from the stealth also massively limits weapons load. Meaning you want to provide sustained CAS over an area, the Typhoon would be better.
Better systems is a rather subjective term, what systems? Only real advantage is the sensor fusion stuff and a 360 vision. Everything else is already done just as well on the Typhoon, especially with CAPTOR-E
Better at defending itself? Again, very much loadout dependent. In a straight dogfight its generally weaker than everything else in terms of raw performance, but makes up for that with equipment, equipment that isnt strictly speaking F-35 excluisve.
the only thing that the F-35 does better than absolutely everything and the main reason why a lot of nations have been getting them is SEAD. Clearing the way for everything else to come in and do the actual work.

At which point it negates the stealth entirely and an aircraft like the Typhoon does just as well.
Assuming the F-35 maintains a minimal self defence ability (2+2 fit) . What is its max A2G payload? Including external hard points?
It’s a 2 PARS pod, the Tiger should be able to carry up to 12 PARS/TRIGAT with those on outer pylons
