That would be absolutely controversial.
I see that as an absolute win. Not that the naval line has anything truely good to add in the future, but I’m glad that they aren’t adding more 400k RP grind barriers like the F-14D.
Unless they add it in a folder where people can ignore it of course.

14.0 Hornets in general are boring and mid anyway. Only one that is worth any mention is the Finnish MLU 2 because funny amount of countermeasures.
As much as i want the F-14D myself for my own wierd reasons i think alot of people are overhyping a jet that is honestly probably going to be more DOA than the hornet was… especially if they give it the hypothetical AIM-120s and it gets pushed into a BR where it will just get stomped.

If i had to guess what the controversial vehicles are its either
SEAD aircraft to make the new SAMs irrelevant
Gen 5 Stealth aircraft (already denied i know but “plans can change”)
A plane going to a nation that people dont want it to (IE: Su-30MKI to UK)
