Sweden and Isreal are the least likely to get one, sweden lacks a good 5.7 that isn’t just a T34 and a actually good SPAA unless you enjoy playing an spaa with no armor and only 2 crew, did i mention its recoil and mobility is terrible?

Unless gaijin goes the route of a 4.7 lineup and focuses on Finland they aren’t going to sell a pack of purely Swedish vehicles at 5.x thats worth buying.

As for Isreal i could see a 7.7 bundle if they go that route, biggest thing is they need to find uparnored or camouflaged vehicle’s of which i dont think sweden or Isreal have for the suggested vehicles, i could be wrong so take it with a grain of salt. Its not unlike gaijin to ignore historical stuff for the sake of money

Now Italy is what im waiting on, i hope its a 4.0 lineup id kill for some more vehicles to play with.

France 5.7 could also be pretty cool, ARL with more armor would be interesting if it had any. But i dint think they ever planned on that.

Was he in a squad with someone?

good point, that couldve been it

Hi @Smin1080p_WT sorry if you’re tired of answering this question already, but I’m curious.

Do the devs have plans to add next-gen IR missiles to top tier aircraft anytime soon (eg. ~1-3 patches from now)?

If not soon, should we expect them to come to top tier aircraft a while later (or if at all, for the time being)? I imagine 5th generation aircraft will come at some point, and next-gen IR missiles would certainly help 4th and 4.5 gen aircraft to contend with those advanced airframes whenever they get added.

I’m mostly just trying to gauge whether next-gen IR missiles on aircraft are in the cards at the moment, or if we should temper our expectations.

For Isreal they could simply just “unfolder” some tanks, Shot for example was the name for Cent Mk.3, Mk.5, and Mk.8s, we only have the Mk.5 in game. So the pack could be a Centurion Mk.8 + a magach 1/2 with extra MGs + the M163. Idk though, Ive got little to not interest in isreali stuff past their Cents. Centurions my beloved

Thats true, but gaijin normally wants to make them semi different from the standard TT counterparts and so far the difference is either add on armor or camo netting

Hey. Whilst we cant give specific updates or time frames, we can say it shouldnt be expected in the short term. That is, we dont have any current plans to speak of for the next major to move to the next generation of IR missiles.

If / when something does change, its something we would announce more widely and not here.

this is something we can already quite easily do lmao and we didnt even need the 31 to do that

Yeah so not necessarily new, more just a copy paste modification. Thanks for informing me.

I just don’t want these C&P premium pack vehicles to be the “major addition” of a nation for an update.

Look at France or Japan e.g.
I’d bet they get a premium pack and a boat, and then call it a day for these nations.

Other conversation:
Why does Gaijin want to make every single TT the same?

Japan is turning more and more American.
Just like how 3 unique vehicles were removed from Japan and got replaced by a single C&P plane.

France is basically US for the lower tiers.
Italy gets more and more C&P for top tier while still having massive gaps in the lower ranks (1->5)

Like… it’s just getting boring. I don’t play the game as much anymore because i’m grinding and playing the same vehicles over and over again…
And the worst part is, i’m grinding the same amount of RP for the same vehicle i’ve already played in 4 different nations.

These packs should be atleast a tiny bit unique.

It’s cheaper
Outsourcing a completely new model costs about 20.000$ iirc. And the same price for a cockpit.
Drawing a “new” camo for a “new” F-16 or Leo 2 is a hundred times cheaper.

That’s why we get like 10 completely identical Leo 2, full C&P rewards for events and BPs. And that’s why Gaijin is able to buy freaking maps in Fortnite and sponsor DoA projects like “Age of water”

i think we have a very different idea of what almost finished is…

I mean seeing a lot of the other things added this update, I think that is pretty close to almost finished for this update’s standards.

I mean look at the EldE mobility and Spyder missing 3 of the 4 radar beams.

Sadly BUK M3 can just be multipathed which will put players in range of Pantsir etc but BUK M3.
However no one really flies high anymore and fires off missiles…Excluding Rafales and Kh-38 carriers.

Watch them remove the MP for top tier SAMs.
And tbf, if they add M3 without ARH missiles, it will be in a spot, where in most in game scenario it will be at a disadvantage

currently with SLM, it’s almost not possible to launch in high altitude. target lock range is almost inside the non escape zone of SLM, and the none warning ir lock makes it harder to get rid of

Doesn’t really matter because a lot if not most ground maps are incase in terrain so you would terrain mask before multipathing most of the time anyways

i have no idea who gaijin hires to make their models. As a concept/3D artist if i did that with clients i would be blacklisted from the industry, permanently. Delivering unfinished work is the cardinal sin of the profession.

I really love this game but when it comes to the art department incompetence is rife (and no I’m not talking about stupid overpriced bomber cockpit nobody cares about or wants, or ugly props and assets haphazardly thrown around ground maps.)

From my knowledge gaijin uses multiple different studios that also explains why the quality of the 3d models fluctuatesand some are completely wrong

The Su30 looks like the artist saw a picture of it once and then made it from memory

You can see what I mean in this bug report:
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/jLyP0AcOEhy3

there are also just low quality models
