tbh, funniest thing with the CATTB is that i can fully see it being added unable to penetrate the UFP of soviet MBT’s still resulting in US mains crying its the shittiest thing in the world

The armor penetration of the CATTB was somewhere around 700-800 mm at some angle. I gotta find the picture that showed its characteristics compared to other APFSDS rounds at that time period.

Nah they’ll likely add it with DTC10-125 so that they can add it to top tier.
plus thailand most likely use that round due to it fitting in both autoloaders Im pretty sure

Are you talking about this image because here it states it gets up to around 950mm of pen.

It may not fit the autoloader also there is no evidence of it using such ammunition but speculation.
IIRC, Chinese APFSDS don’t need modernization for autoloader

Yes that would be correct, I was thinking of a different image that shows the penetration for the 120mm that was part of that 120/140mm project.
I think you might be talking about this one, but it’s all from the same testing anyway.
