Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

SLM is similar to Patriot, the vehicle they’re adding can’t fire it

I didnt think I was crazy to think the SLM was still IIR guided, I could have sworn I read something about that somewhere

Never mind then, will defo be IRIS-T SLS then

Yeah, im waiting for CAMM being added with single plane not dual plane, so only 27G pull not 50G. Mach 1-2 not Mach 3+ and a range of about 15km on a good day but will go for chaff no matter what :D

It wont work for CAMM like that. Standard sqrt2 does not work here (also it would be 35, where did you get the 27?)

Oh boy, 200+ messages in here! Surely it’s because there’s a le- D:

well, I think it won’t get mach3, the others, just like he said.

it’s based on asraam, and asraam get just mach3+ with air launch

Must be misremebering I thought I saw Flame say it would be about 27G, so thats my bad hten and why would it not be reduced for CAMM?

True, mixed some things up

The sqrt2 works only for missiels relying only on fins. CAMM relies on both fins and body to turn.

What does the speed of ASRAAM have to do with the G pull formula?

But is still dual plane though right?

like Aim-54s?

I guess the lowly intern has submitted their routine over-the-shoulder peak at one of the dev’s PCs then?

I dont remember honestly. It might be single, it might be dual. I would have to check.

In any case. Im doubting it will be at full strength at launch, for both ASRAAM and CAMm, going ot be a long uphill battle of bug reports I see in our future

Yep, saw that, looking good so far. If nothing else, we can finally get a CR3(P) with things like Armour, and spall liners

27G refers to a, different situation. No details tho.

no, I was replying about “3mach” part.
the quote is just
