This has been said by official people over and over again and even said by Smin here multiple times as well, Vehicle modelling team is not the same as coding team for stuff like TWS and what not. It isn’t hard to realise that

Vehicles are planned long in advance. The F/A-18s were always planned to come around the time thay they did. There is no possibility they would’ve come a year and a half earlier. Its not juse a case of what BR they sit at. We dont only add things at the very top BR all the time.
yeah fair I mean now I don’t really care about the hornet it was back when we had literally no options (we also assumed we would see the hornet way before now)
the leopard issue I get but also at the same time not much reason to grind to 12.0 in british ground unless you really like the challengers as they are just kinda bad

Ngl, for all the effort this British Main is going to complain about British stuff, maybe he should go and get a job at Gaijin for their British vehicles division and make all the fixes himself
no I fully get that but the capabilities of the F/A-18A are very much inline with fighters added like you said a year and half ago its the same with the tornado F3 being added years after the F-14A meaning both planes kinda missed the lime light of when they would have been great (not saying they arent good)
All i want is the new SPAA systems, and I’m coping they won’t be completely butchered (cope level: catastrophic)

Honestly a Hawk could be a great event vehicle. (So long as we see some TT versions too). Maybe a Red Arrows Hawk T1.
Actually saying that display team aircraft from other nations too could be good options for events aswell. Maybe even a premium or two for some of them.

F/A-18 wasnt necessary to add when the Grippen was added as the US already had a pretty capable platform in the form of the F-16’s

Someone must model it on new aircraft. Like the mig21 bison had a fully functional hud that displayed radar contact a few months before the tornado got it (despite being in the game for more than a year) and more than a year before the SHars got it (which had been in the game for 2.5 years)
The point is resources are finite and it always seems to be the same few that come in a pretty decent state and the same few that have to wait 6 to 18 months for things to be fixed
Heck, last mini update, they finally C&Ped the Buc S2Bs radar over to the Buc S1 and S2. Only took them 15 months? to do that
my money is on a G6-HVM or ZA-HVM that still dont give use the capabilities of the pantsir while russia gets a pantsir S2 or SM

My fear is that they’ll say we got 3 recently and therefore don’t want to add anymore SPAA so soon and we’ll be waiting a few major updates for the Skysabre
Throw the ZA-HVM out of the window, I could drive it to Gaijin HQ and they would still say it’s fake. G6 would give a ItO/FlaRakRad equivalent. I would be happy, but if others are getting better systems, it would be quite sad.

Capabilities dont always define when a vehicle comes. Otheriwse one major update would just drop 15 iconic jets all at once. Which is never how things have gone.
Looks at the M113 ADATS vs ITO-90 or FlaRakRad yeah getting better systems that wouldnt happen…
Its not the sort of vehicle that would come via event first.

ADATS would not be half bad, sadly it’s state now (like most) is suboptimal to say the least.

Has there been any response to the Kh-38 post? I know a lot of players were waiting for such given the dominace it currently has and its existence being questionable. Gaijin’s reluctance to comment on some overperforming Russian equipment is…well…not a good look if being honest.
