You are right and I expect ASRAAM to be an absolute car crash when they add it.
25km shots easilly flared and having no real range advantage. Locking on to any IR signature (flares, AI aircraft the sun!)

I really lost hope. Most of recent patches exept for tech improvements are pure garbage for me in terms of new content.

And yes I still play it cuz I love War Thunder. This is my all favourite game since its release and I really want everyone to have opportunity to experience the coolest potential WWII or Cold war planes and tanks there are.

thats the issue, most of the marketing focuses on top tier so that is what a majority of new players are looking at
You have been usurped, no new player wants to play low tier.
They tried with the OST pack of Tigers and an Ostwind (great idea) can guarantee the M1 Clickbait outsold it by a pretty large margin.
How many superb vehicles are being passed to devs monthly. Why they do not appear in game for years or even decades. What is even the point of suggestions and accepting them if they never appear.
I could give tons of examples. They don’t appear even in events or BP.

It’s tough because the modern stuff is flashy and sells. I myself am quite fond of it. But yeah, it feels like WT needs to add an Infantry side in the client, and then parse things out between basically WWI-1950, and then like 1950-1975, and then everything after that.
Let people start at the era’s they want to play, let the rules and tech trees de-clutter a tad bit.

I feel the same way bro. My mind is still boggled at how long ago the FV101 Scorpion was passed to developers, and we still have yet to see it. Honestly they should stop passing things to developers until everything passed has been implemented. Not only does this not let our souls get crushed by the lack of a passed item not being added, I feel like it would put more pressure on them to actually implement things.

Yeah it was but seriously though getting told either the EF and the Tornado is good enough while the US claims their 15 odd F-15 variants is tiresome

Yeah, I remember being told the Tornado F3 was fine vs F-16s and Mig-29s. . and now watching them say they need F-22 to fight the Typhoon just shows how bad they are

Like last year they had 3 major F-15 variants every other update then cried like hell when we got our Typhoons
would be nice if they added regenerative steering and fixed some flaws of the latest mbt’s, mostly looking at the leclerc’s top speed still being 72km/h instead of 90km/h, same for the chally’s which are known to be extremely maneuverable but are bricks ingame
its indeed the worst even aam3 is better
