To get the max range out of the GBU-39 you need speed and altitude, while it helps SPEAR 3 range too, since it’s powered you don’t have to go nearly as high up to get a decent range

there is a difference between 20 kills on stationary targets and 7 or 8
and? a pure GPS and IOG SPEAR 3 is no more advanced then an SDB-1 if it was SAL and MMV then sure but that isnt what we are asking for
There is also a difference between a glide bomb and a small cruise missile
from using the gripen you can easily hit any ARB target long before your in threat range of ARH missiles so I dont get your complaint here?
