I think it would be fair then to say that AIM-9X Block 2 should be added since if all IIR missiles are coming to top tier aircrafts then it would probably be the worst IIR and not anywhere within the pack if Block 1 is added.

I think so yes, since Type 81 doesn’t have IIR in-game. Just some IR/Optical thing which AAM-3 is also supposed to get but isn’t at all similar to IIR.

Wasn’t the revised motor on later 9xs just using a different type of propellant or did they actually make changes to the motor itself?
The TC-1L missile on the antelope is supposed to be IIR but it only has suspension track in game

Mainly because it would be broken in ground rb since they are smokeless compared to its competitors and it would be better than the r73 Mainly because of the seeker ±85 degrees gimbal limit and tvc
The main issue will be tvc since it will probably spin off like the r73
